Default For those not sure about having a third....

A family I used to nanny for were unsure if they wanted a second and got twins, so similar. And I know with her first there were two sacs at her first scan but one didn't progress. I thought I had heard before that as you get older your body releases more than one egg so twins are more likely with older moms (the mom I nannied for was older). Obviously doesn't really apply to Bec though. Are they identical? Because that's just a random occurrence in nature whereas non identical would mean she released two eggs.

I'll be honest she gets a lot of kudos from me because Chris Judd was always a lovely bloke when playing. You know the ones who are knobs and the ones who aren't. He was one of the good ones.

As for fawning over her for what she does, I truly don't care what people do for a living so long as they are essentially good people. Having worked with many lawyers who are tools, and knowing lots of doctors who are knobs, having a so called honourable profession can be as equally overrated as having an empty vacuous one.

She said in an article they were toying with the idea of a third and accidentally on purpose got pregnant and found out at the 12 week scan it was twins.

Also to a PP they are identical twins

Ah ok! And I just read another post saying that as you get older you release more eggs..? I didn't know that!

I wouldn't have minded having twins this time around (currently pregnant with #3) but if we tried for a 4th (though I honestly can't see this ever happening), or had an "accident" I would not be happy about twins, going from 3 to 5!!! OMG imagine!

And I've just looked up Bec Judd's Insta, and I like it. Her pregnant body is amazing! I don't think she's very attractive though. Sorry to all her fans

ETA - after reading some of the comments below, I just wanted to clarify, I didn't say that I don't find her attractive in order to be mean but it may seem a weird comment to make; it was only in the context of the criticism made about her flaunting her looks and supposedly giving the wrong message to women with her post-c/s perfect hair and makeup and cosmetic surgery or whatever.. I didn't get that vibe at all from her photos.

Anyway, hope I didn't offend anyone! It's still PC to admit when you don't find someone attractive right? Or is that being a mean girl?

Just read through this whole thread and all I can add is:

Please think about what you write on social media. As someone who has just recently lost a teenage friend due to suicide cause by bullying over social media, I'm a bit surprised at some of the comments grown women are posting on here. Judging people is something you shouldn't be doing, and is something I would hope most people would teach their kids is not okay either. It is a form of bullying. Bullying is not okay in any way, shape or form.

Most people on here weren't around when the thread about Chrissie Swan being caught smoking when pregnant was alive. It definitely shows the inherent bias people have against so called thin attractive mothers.

The BH community rallied behind her after she was busted smoking when pregnant and was full of empathy and warmth. There were also comments made in the media about her son being overweight which were awful. Yet she was a lowly television personality and radio show co- host at the time? By the standards of many in this thread she would have been hung out by her ankles.

But no she wasn't. Wonder why

I have a totally different memory of that thread! Isn't it interesting how that happens? I didn't feel at all that she was rallied behind, or at least I don't think I did??

This is the thread I was thinking of

    http://www.bubhub.com.au/community/f...-Chrissie-Swan

It led to a spin off as many on here (myself included) felt it worth discussing but but not in that thread specifically. The spin off was the usual debate about women smoking when pregnant.

The interesting thing with the thread I linked was that she read Bubhub threads.

Oh, maybe I'm thinking of the spin off then...

I remember that thread and even took part in it. While I won't say I supported her, I did feel empathy for her bc she had an addiction. While some echoed that, lots tore her to shreds. I think Bec has had way more supporters in this thread than detractors.

And it had nothing to do with weight. Most of us have said we aren't fans as we find her a bit self obsessed and staged. But it's like the thread has developed of a life of it's own where the few of us not gushing over her are haters and catty and jealous bc she's skinny. It kind of goes back to what I said earlier where women can't seem to comment on other women without being branded fat jealous B's. Which ironically is catty lol I could care if she was size 6 or 60.

Anyhoo, the thread is going around in circles so I'm going to leave it there.
