Thanks lovely. I'm pi$$ed off. How can our whole entire state have no back up power when we pay what we do? And now mobile towers are going to go down in less than four hours. What on earth am I supposed to do in an emergency?

Where I work was pretty much the worst place hit. And it was right on home time. The drive home was terrifying. I have no torch or candles and had no cash but thankfully someone I know dropped me off both of these things.

I'm trying to turn it into an adventure but I know it's going to be such a loooong boring night.

    Hope everyone else is ok...

Agreed. I've been texting my aunty this afternoon and sounds like they've escaped the worst of it. One of DHs colleagues in Adelaide is stuck in an 8 story carpark and can't get out. News reports say power is expected to be back on around 4am. How crippling that the entire state is without power!

Not sure about nursing homes but all the hospitals are ok with back up power.
