Anyone else been down this path?
@ange1111 yeah mate, im doing a split cycle like that (but not with wazza) :-) just so you know you're not alone

@Btae oh, lovely...i am so sorry. How devastating for you. I know the build up for a cycle/getting close to transfer and what it feels like to have it snatched away. .. and after all the travel, trouble running around and the expense. Its heart breaking. Be as upset as you need to for as long as you need to and be especially kind to yourself. My thoughts are with you. I am so so sad for you xox

Thanks guys. It is disappointing I won't deny that but I understand why wazza made this call. I was called to tell dh not to get on the plane and when I got back to clinic, wazza said my progesterone and LH not rising as expected. We could retrigger and go to EPU but eggs are already potentially messed up and might not be the best quality wazza wants and would end up with poor day 5 result so wazza made the call. No EPU, no FET for this cancelled cycle, we will stim again in December per wazza advice.

I am feeling okay, a little defeated as I thought this would truly be my last stim and egg numbers were looking good. But this is the nature of ivf treatment. I will be back to normal pregnyl trigger next stim.

@Btae - So sorry to hear your cycle has been cancelled hun. Was it a lucrin/lupron trigger you used hun to prevent over stimulation? I have used them a couple of times in the past and had the bt to check for ovulation. It must be heart breaking hun but you are right to listen to Warren's opinion it might save more heartache down the line with a bad result at day 5. How many follicles did you have? Presume you will try for less in December so over stimulation isn't an issue. Is your DH on his way yo Brisbane then hun? Thinking of you xxx

Hotel is paid till tomorrow and cannot be refunded so decided to spend a night here and head back tomorrow morning. Still digesting this as this is my first cancelled cycle and I am very calm, is that a good thing lol? Damnit all these eggs!! Maybe I should bd as soon as I go back to Melb lol....

I should feel good that wazza calls me a good responder to his protocol as he manages to cook up many follicles with the reduced fsh dosage.

Thanks Hun. Yes it was the Lucrin trigger I used this cycle. I had 20+ follies and we were guessing maybe 25+ eggs, he is reducing fsh dosage even further in Dec so hopefully my estrogen isn't gonna shoot through the roof like this time.

I believe this is the right call, just disappointed things didn't go according to plan and I am further away from getting a positive result... . Other than that, I am okay. Hubby was told not to come so he is waiting in Melbourne for my return tomorrow.
