Default Anyone still TTC at the age of 48?

    Hi

I am wondering if there are any older women in their late 40s still TTC naturally? I have been on a rollercoaster because we don't have any children. My husband's grandmother had a baby at 48. It is so depressing when you see other families.

My mum didn't go though the dreaded M word till she was 52. I don't have any hot flushes or dryness yet but I don't ovulate regularly and have started skipping periods and then my periods would come back clockwork.

I am interested to hear from anyone.

Have you had an Amh done? That might be worth it if you haven't already.

    Hi

I am wondering where the over 40s ivf thread is? It is frustrating that my body is not telling me what I want. At the moment I have missed a couple of cycles this year and then had my periods as clockwork but no other menopause symptoms which I am happy about. At the same time I am looking for an egg donor.

I have had an AMH done back in January this year and it is low, 1.7. My hubby has brilliant sperm with excellent motility. I am wondering where are my eggs?

Any help or advice would be great.

    Hi

Not sure if I am sending this right or not. Where is the over 40s ivf thread? I had my AMH test in January this year and it is low, 1.7. My hubby's sperm is brilliant and with excellent motility. At the same time, I am looking for an egg donor.

Any help or advice would be great.

    Hi Sandra,
I'm pretty sure I saw an IVF over 40 thread on here (I use the app) but just wanted to wish you luck on your journey. You may have better luck examining the ED route but see what your docs say. The AMH is very low, but everyone is different. I wish you every success,
    D
