@Butterfly Baby why no vacuum or mop? As in I can't do it or even hubby can't do it too?

Anyway my full flow has come so day 1 for me today!

@Giraffez goodluck CD1. I think what @butterflybaby is saying are things that worked for her mental state. Common sense says you can mop, bathe and do a cartwheel etc.. Its whatever helps you get through. Nothing you do will change the outcome of the transfer. It will work or it wont. Just be sensible I guess and up to you whether you choose to believe in myths and old wives tales.

I was really strict first ivf cycle. I didnt mop or vacume for a month. This is my second ivf cycle...I didn't vac or mop for 6 days. If you can not do it for a few weeks why not. Let your hubby do it have a rest. The house work is not important. Relaxing is and believe if your relaxed better chance of it taking. Cool cycle begins. My husband did needles 5 years ago but I did them this time as he travels a lot. The red pen was easy but other one I found hard. I had a shower before and softens the skin makes needle easy to go in. Just don't stress...I went all zen like both times lit a candle and burnt sandlewood. Another thing i did both times no alcohol from the day of injections. All the best just try and think positive.x

Oh I rang the nurse about the egg white discharge and they told me to start the orgalutran tomorrow rather than Friday as originally planned.

Don't panic....just looked at my notes...I started orgalutran day 5 ..re needle if you hubby there get him to do it. Shower just before. ..should soften skin. You need to be firmer with applying needle. I also documented in diary left right side etc...I took that second needle for 3 days.. means you could be doing egg collection Monday. ..you will get a scan then they will tell you..your cycle is same as mine it's early...could be good both my cycles were early.
