I know I know... Sounds bad but I was actually quite interested in trying it..my progesterone was high and they routinely freeze day 1 if it is - they reckon easier to defrost. I did 3 cycles back to back getting only 7 fertilised (out of 20 in total). Then they grow them to day 4 (yes I know more doubts) and test with 24 hr turn around and put back any normals on day 5. I was interested to try as haven't had any hatching blastocysts yet (we put back anything good enough untested) so thought ok let's test at day 4. I did a stack of research that actually said can get good results testing earlier than Day5.
Yes will get to see what happens in a couple weeks!

I'm actually really happy with Cyprus - I rang Wazza this morning and his girls said that he doesn't know a great deal about any of the clinics, only if one of his ladies comes back with a good or bad report. When I saw him I'm sure he rattled off a list that he is happy with and Cyprus was on that. He didn't like Hawaii, but said most of the others are good. If he is supervising the cycle then the end clinic just has to do the embie side of it and the transfer properly, and it looks like they are experienced at that, so for the price I think I would definitely give it a go. And it looks like a very cool place to have a holiday. So I'm leaning that way very heavily right now! And I was in the process of choosing a Known Donor, so there you go - I'm off on another tangent!
Oh wow I didn't realise DE was so expensive!! What does Wazza charge for managing cycle at your end?

I'm excited for you that this looks like a real possibility!

Not sure what Wazza charges, just his normal fees I think, but QFG charge about $14K to manage a donor cycle.

Really??? Because all my research and the peer reviewed research says it's far better and safer for the embryo to be tested at Day 5 not to mention more accurate in results to be tested at Day 5???? It's actually not good for embryo's to be frozen and thawed over and over again either.

It seems you've gone the long way around things doing it your way when it would've been far easier just to grow them out to Day 5 and then test which one's were suitable to be tested or else transfer/freeze which one's were not.

However... I wish you nothing but the best and hopefully you'll have some for testing once you grow them all out to Day 4 (though I'm not so sure Morula's can have cells removed for testing??? Maybe prior to compacting???).

Yes that's correct - prior to compacting so when they are about 8 cells - of fruck I dunno now! It's all a stress. I'm considering suddenly doing a cycle with Charlotte -/ Wazza instead to see if get any better outcomes!

Do any of you with Wazza/Charlotte think the drugs/supps gave you better outcomes in terms of genetic quality?

Default IVF Over 40's #40 Temp

@Blossom74 wonderful news!!! Will be thinking of you early morn and look forward to your news.

    - just edited as realised your doing donor - yay!!! This is sooooooo exciting!!!!

We need TESE too so I am excited (not really the right word) to hear how that goes. My DP has had two experiences so far with it, we've been using frozen soerm the last few rounds but will do fresh if we cycle with Charlotte/Wazza.

Well, it sounds like at 8 cells they're going to test them when the embryo's are at Day 3 which is one of the times they can usually test them. It's either Day 3 or Day 5 they test them Luv (though they prefer these days to test on Day 5), they can't PGD test them on Day 4

Wazza also did TESA my Ex DP and got 3 vials of TESA'd sperm out of him on Cycle 4. We used frozen TESA'd sperm for my successful Cycle. I also took all of Wazza's Pharmacy of Supplements and Drugs for almost 7 months straight (as did my Ex) and felt like it did help maximise my egg quality

Nothing will correct a chromosomally frucked up egg...you can only do what you can do to try to maximise you chances by helping your eggs in terms of energy (mitochondria) and being the healthiest it's capable of being etc and that's it Luv..same as the sperm for the men (if you have one in your life).
