@Blossom74 – great idea – get out while you can so no extra unnecessary stress
@Tahli - .... that is such wonderful news! So happy this finally happened for you - you've gone through so much since I've been on this thread! Yes I did hear from clinic well I called this morning and had BT (just in time – they only do it between 8 and 9am!... I got there at 858 yikes –and didn’t even know – but I”d only been given the form by email a few minutes before that and rushed down!...luckily) The clinic will call sometime this afternoon (Perth time). Still have headache – it’s weird its the same as my migraines but much milder (I thought with progesterone on board I wouldn’t get anymore migraines )...
Has your phone rung yet @Rhino? How many days past your day 5 transfer are you today? Did you transfer two embryos?? Everything's crossed!!!
From my limited knowledge Progesterone induces headaches, hence PMT headaches...but so does pregnancy in general.
@Tahli congratulations on official results lovely lady xox (i might get you to mail me a bfp frer, if mine is negative, so i can show it to gp so they'll give me the blood test form and I'll know for sure i can stop meds n get ready for next time!)
Greetings, from my old home town about 1 hour away from the airport! Mum and Dad arrived at 12pm so we headed for dry ground and just finished setting ourselves up at their house. They, meanwhile, are fighting the cats for the best spot in the house at our place - in front of the fire. I just rang Dad to tell him we've arrived and he said "Everyone is asleep!"
In some discouraging news, I heard back from my clinic. My FS is not happy with my lining. It was 6mm last week and 5.5mm this week and he said unless I come up to a decent measurement by Friday - this Friday - then we won't be doing a fresh transfer. He has bumped my Progynova from 8mg a day to 12mg a day and wants to rescan me at 7am Friday. What a worry.
Included within the cycle costs I paid is my fresh transfer. If, by chance, I don't get to do a fresh transfer, do I get some sort of refund for that portion? Because they are telling me it'll cost me an extra $3500-ish (less MC rebate) to do a FET down the track. But that doesn't seem fair. Any thoughts? Should I buck up about the cost if it comes down to a freeze-all?
