Hey everyone, just managed to catch up from this week. On the phone so I'll be brief. Hugs for everyone! Lots of good news in here, and some bumps... but hugs are always good no matter the occasion! Have a good week everyone, and I have fingers crossed and best wishes going out into the universe.

    Hi all,

tuxcat at you are who I was thinking of. Congrats on pupo.

Tahlia. Congrats on the line getting darker. That happened to me.

Im so sorry for not being up to speed on everyone else's journey.

Im very emotional today, I'm a wreck!

Its ts not my first rodeo. I have one child through IVF and extremely grateful but would love a sibling. Even if that means donor eggs.

    With thanksxx

    Hi @MysticFalls,

We all have rough days hon, it's not an easy journey Have you discussed your situation with your FS recently? What is his opinion as far as using your own eggs vs donor eggs is concerned?

There are quite a few of us who have walked the donor path in here. In fact, my donor is going for EPU for us this Friday coming! If you have any questions I'd be happy to chat, just send me a PM

@gorgeousgeorge oh my goodness sweetheart what a roller coaster! The girls are right - it ain't over til it's over!

I can completely imagine the shock and the hundreds of questions this has raised is overwhelming. Totally get the anxiety you're feeling.

Let yourself feel it all - it's so hard being strong all the time. Let it out - better out then in!

And then when you've done that, breathe, because it's it's time to pray to whomever you like, cross your fingers and hope. Two embies is great and Dr N sounds like he's going the extra mile which is good too. One day, hon. One day you /will/ be a mum. We are praying it's this time and who is to say it's not?

And we are all here every step until it happens, you're surrounded by hope. And can I just say how incredibly safe, comforting and articulate and caring you are. The universe will turn in your favour. It just will.

And at this stage it looks like it'll be in 2 weeks.

Wow it has been a hair raising 48 hours! @Tahli how are you luv have you got another POAS pic, it's interesting letting the sticks do the talking, fx the next one is darker again. Geez what a head f###ck a faulty one can do to your adrenals.
@gorgeousgeorge migod how horrendous to find out this way about DHs spermiciles, he must be feeling blown away by it too, men can often taken it the hardiest and for some reason this is a direct link to their egos so it can take a beating getting a bad report. FS'a often overlook the male side of it, especially if your doing ICSI as they say they only need as many sperms as eggs and even faulty sperm can fertilise eggs. The mothers DNA carry the embryo through the first couple of days then by Day 2-3 seems to be where the sperm kick in as the embryo needs the paternal DNA to contribute to development.

Our problem is MFI and Day 3 is an issue for us, but I have read about plenty of fragmented Day 3 embryos resulting in healthy babies so there's always a chance.
@tuxcat congrats luv what a great result enjoy the 2ww!

Hi everyone, just catching up on the last couple of days.. We had a grand final BBQ which went until 2am.
Gosh there have been some ups and downs in the thread this weekend..
I'm so happy to see that darker second line reappear for you @Tahli, - talk about a scare! and @gorgeousgeorge I can only imagine the hurricane of emotions you are experiencing. I'm glad you are swimming in that pool and trying to be zen.. right now you are PUPO and that is something to smile (and swim) about. You've got a massive cheer squad here crossing fingers, toes and eyes for you. And your FS sounds bloody fantastic. Sounds like you are in good hands.
It's funny, until I joined this thread I just didn't realise how important a good FS is - my two in Melb have been pretty apathetic and unhelpful really. I've heard only good things about the FS I'm using in SA so fingers crossed. @Blossom74 so glad you managed to survive the storm. It's all good news from here! @tuxcat yippee on PUPO!!
Hi @MysticFalls, you are in great hands here x

And big hellos to all of you other gorgeous, funny, smart and brave ladies today!

@gorgeousgeorge My heart is aching for what you and DH are going through! As I said on the other thread words cannot express how sorry I am for your news! But you hare PUPO and there is a chance you will have an embie stick!!! I’ll be praying for that! I’m so glad you had Dr N come up with another plan – just in case – but I also pray you never have to use that plan! I hope you get to enjoy Greece as you love it so much! I’ll be praying for you my friend!
