Quick question... Once I start the injections can I still exercise? Will I even feel like it?

Yep you can, I tend to tone things down to more gentle versions, just see how you feel. After your transfer you need to make sure you don't overdo it and over heat but if you are a regular exerciser then I think you can keep on doing it. Its mainly the overheating aspect in pregnancy as I think a lot of people keep up their exercise if they have previously been doing it. Also drink loads of water, it helps your body cope with the drugs.

    like the zebra! hehe

Im good, excited, nervous, feeling hopeful, feeling scared, trying to stop thinking anything will go badly from here and keeping busy! Ive got loads of work to do today so thats helping me not think about it all too much, I feel like things have gone well with the cycle so far so I have no reason to think it will go terribly wrong and if we get a handful of embryos to try that is a good outcome I think. We've always had good fertilisation and fairly good embryos (except for a few times) so with better numbers to play with and much younger eggs Im just really hoping that that means our chances are good to get a few frosties and hopefully hopefully hopefully a take home baby. Did i say hopefully??

    Whats happening with you?

@pingc383 im glad that you were able to go see wazza, i know youve been wanting that to happen asap. Im sorry that you felt defeated. I know how that feels mate. Its surreal at first, then it gets scary, then it gets sad. :-( But im so glad that you are willing and able to give it a go. You can only try and see what happens. I know its not much compensation but its better than fs telling you b u l l s h i t and just taking your money. Better spent with wazza i reckon. And you still have options and choices so there's hope. And its good that he's willing to address all the protocols and things you were worried about. So... no regrets.
I dont know if it help but with the silent endo, if wazza said not to bother cutting it out, i also wouldnt do it. I have it real bad, everywhere, growing into my bladder n bowel etc... and my fs cut out some but he didnt do it all because its not goid to be excising/cutting/burning it out near your ovaries coz it can damage them and reduce their function. My fs said, if id finished having kids and the reason i was seeing him was because my endo was painful and causing me problems, then he would have excised as much as he could. I know they say sometimes, they cut it out and you get preggers, he said he'd seen that happen with lots of ladies within 6 months of cutting out severe stage 4 endo but said it didnt make much difference with less severe cases. I read a study about impaired ovarian function after surgery for endo if they cut it away near the ovaries. So im pretty glad my fs knew what he was doing and didnt go there. He basically just cut me open to confirm endo was my problem, cut out the bits not near my ovaries while he was there and didnt cut out the bits in my bowel or bladder because he didnt want me to wake up eith a catheter and colostomy bag n be in hospital for weeks because i wasnt really doing the surgery to remove the endo. He said to worry about that after i didnt need my ovaries anymore. Just thought that might help appease the worrying about your possible silent endo. I also think even if they cut it all out, the scar tissue stuff is the symptom of endo, even if they cut out all the stuff, you will still have endo coz its an autoimmune disease. (It usually grows back anyway too). Im glad that you are moving forward with a plan as soon as possible. October's not far away my friend. Dont forget Wazza's worked miracles with the lining ladies too. (And i know that you arent at the de stage yet and you totally need to do whatever you need to with your own eggs but thought it might be good to mention, no matter how long you go with your own eggs, youve got 10 years left to do de, so you have plenty of time for that option, if that helps to have a plan z in the background.) xox

@tuxcat dont forget that the de cycle worries are just thoughts at the moment. Its always bloody windy in canberra so that should help to blow those thought -clouds away xox
@Charlie74 i love that cloud, thoughts are just thoughts strategy. Im using it all the time now. All my worries about the future are just thoughts. They're not things that have happened or are destined to happen. Really glad you posted that. It will help me with ivf and life in general forever xox
