@tuxcat a nerve wrecking time for u and you're providing strength to your donor as well which is amazing. Those little eggs will be golden so don't be too let down by the numbers, it's SO hard when we have the high expectations after everything we go through. I'm so excited for you xxx

1-2 is my perfect number (assuming they work first go), so then it's bub & possible sibling, and less guilt about what to do with the extras/unused ones later.
thanks @winsor yes I have to keep reminding myself that these ones might actually work so having just enough for a few tries is all we need. At the start I said to myself that if we got 4 blasts I would be super happy but now I think that probably won't happen. Its just the nature of the beast isnt it, one minute its going along superbly and the next its a slap in the face. I definitely need to bury myself in my work today and tomorrow thats for sure. Its going to be agonising!!!

Appendix out in 3 weeks. @tuxcat great result!! Fingers crossed for tomorrow, exciting times ahead....
Gosh that three weeks flew by quickly, I was thinking about you at the weekend and thinking I must say a good luck as it must be approaching....and its done! Glad they didn't find anything How did you find the WOTB?! My dad had one done once and the anaesthetic hasn't worked properly so he was awake and watching it on the screen

Hi all- thanks to those who have been thinking of me. Just laying low at the moment. Physically feel fine, 17 weeks in Sat. 19 week scan on 10 Oct, hoping for things to be ok at that scan and then maybe I can relax a bit. Haven't told family and friends yet, trying to hold out til after scan but running out of loose clothes to wear particularly work ones. Bit sad that I can't feel excited about telling people.
@Tahli - I know fertilisation rate is a bit disappointing but not necessarily indicative of a bad cycle. My last and only discuss full cycle was my worst maturity rate of 10 from 16 and on par with my worst fert rate 6 out of 10 of the four cycles. Yet one of those six came through.

Sorry I'm behind on the thread and have thread slacker guilt.

@tuxcat arghh, sorry you didnt get a better result. Ive been in the position of comforting my donor too. Its a different kind of hard again, trying to check your own disappointment. I still feel awful about saying "We only got 5" when my donor came to. I wish i could take back that word "only". She cried in the waiting room after and i felt just terrible though by then i had pulled my sh!t together.
Speaking of my donor she met Alex on sunday for the first time and i got a beautiful pic of her holding him.
@Molros the wee out the bottom part was unpleasant but ok, it was that combined with the fasting, no water plus i have bronchitis........geeze, it felt like a terrible hangover!
