@Summer thanks I'm not sure what egg numbers to expect for 42/43. This time last year I had almost 20 amazing how it has dropped off, I'm in a bit of shock!

The AMH graph they give you at testing certainly is right there's the gradual decline and then there's the drop off the edge decline ...... scary! We hear of so many getting pregnant naturally in their 40s but it really is the exception to the rule.
@Tahli it sounds really positive enjoy your MS

Did they do a sperm analysis test at the time of his sample? Ie count, motility and morphology? I know most clinics give you a report on the sperm sample produced at the time of egg collection. Although a certain clinic we all know did not do this and I found it frustrating as it is a very tell tale sign on whether the cycle in question was in fact male factor or eggs. If ICSI is being done then morphology is the main one to be concerned about and believe it or not anything greater than 5% is considered normal. It appears most men's sperm these days are a little wonky!

im glad your ready for the next phase in your journey already ..... back on that horse hey giddiup and I hear ya make use of that FACS leave and enjoy another holiday.

One reason in my head not to cancel my EPU today was that I would not have a reason to stay home from work although I was really tired from hormones! ... but what better reason then to take a week off and relax in Greece and make a baby. Is it an option to try and improve DH sperm or go straight to donor embryo?
@Jazzabelle13 yeah, every cycle including this de cycle they've done the test for count, motility and morphology. All 6 samples he's given over the last 2 years were classed as 'excellent' (not 'good' or 'average'). Dr.n said on epu day his sample was 'excellent' too. Go figure hey? He hasnt done the dna fragmentation test but i guess its not much use now that we've done the 'use different eggs' test anyway. So we'll do a shared ivf next using donor sperm and dh's sperm which is frozen at the clinic, saves $2k on his flight and see what happens by day 5. Lol, if i even mention 'icing balls' i reckon he will veto the whole thing lol. He is still traumatised by my mentioning dr. wazza recommends that and i still think he doesnt really believe its true. I'll be going over by myself this time, just for 1-2 days- crazy! But gonna give myself a day or 2 off when i get back so not really a holiday this time. But i will eat everything in sight for the 48hours im there. :-)

    Hi all
    Great numbers @Blossom74! X
    Massive hugs @gorgeousgeorge @tuxcat @Tinachris ( hope I haven't missed anyone xxxxxxxxxx
@gorgeousgeorge re "family leave" I totally get the ****s at my work, people with young kids don't work afternoons or night shifts and I feel like yelling "I'm trying to have a kid I don't want to work nights either"
Shift work can really mess with fertility so I think I have a legit argument!

Totally told a co worker off the other day for asking when I was going to have kids! FFS I've been getting asked that for a decade, F off already!
    X
