    Default Psychiatrists

Hi my daughter is about to embark on her IVF journey following 1 ectopic and 3 miscarriages.? And finding out that there are genetic issues making things difficult.
She would like to access her super to assist with costs and is required to see a psychiatrist has anybody been down this route and able to recommend a psychiatrist that is familiar with this process.

Also any advise on the best way to support my daughter and son in law would be great fully accepted as we have all been through a highly emotional journey during the 4 losses in the past 18 months. I sometimes find it difficult to say the right thing and although am available do struggle at times.

    Thank you Jude

    Hi,

I'm not able to offer any advice, but wanted to say hi and Welcome and hats it's wonderful of you to want to support them through this process.

I'm in Adelaide too, so if there's anything local I can help with let me know.

I do see a great psychologist, would that suffice? Or does it need to be a psychiatrist? If it's the former, I can recommend mine though I have no idea if she specialises in that specifically, but you can always still contact her. She's based in Unley. I'm not sure how 'south' you are or if that suits.

Welcome to BH. Most of the clinics here in SA has specialists on board at the clinics and they could access it through them I know I did and it was extremely helpful. I was with Repromed
