Thank you! Our Fertility Specialist said it isn't game over this month, but I have a feeling it is - we will see on Monday though.

How are you going with your injections Evelynn?

    Sorry for a delayed response!
I have successfully taken over this fear of needles! I still don't like it but when it's time i sit down and ice myself up and say go on do it.
I've had two blood tests since starting the clomid and didnt have ice and i didnt procrastinate or cry or anything.
Feeling very proud of my self still.
We had an internal scan yesterday too, I have two good size follicles growing, one on each side. They said it all looked good and 'nornal' for what it should be right now.
We have another scan tomorrow and blood test. I am in my 'peak' time of ovulation right now, so I'd say it will be between Wed and fri that we should be having the main part of the procedure done! I'm very excited and we are just hanging off the edges of our chairs lol.
Although I am feeling extremely sore after the internal ultrasound from yesterday, mixed in with ovulation pain.... Makes for a pretty uncomfortable experience.
Looking forward to being pregnant and not having daily injections and tests etc etc.

And also looking forward to our blood test and scan being over tomorrow!

Have you heard any more mrsrodgerdodger?

Wow it is all happening for you Evelynn, that is awesome, so happy for you!

Not great our end, i had an internal scan done on Friday which showed 8 follicles on one ovary, but at my follow up scan yesterday there was nothing on either ovary. I am having bloods done every day for the next week to check on LH and oestrogen (sorry for the spelling) and will see how we go.

Our fertility specialist suggested a higher dose of Clomid or the injections next month, but I think we may skip next month and go straight to IVF in November!

Very sad and deflated at the moment, but glad we have plan b in mind so we will see what happens with my blood test over the next week.

    Xx

@Evelynn when you go in for egg collection they will write how many they collect on your left hand if they haven't told you that. You'll have a little bit of cramping for a day and that's it. We where in at 9 for payment 930 for sperm collection. 10 for procedure and home by 1230
    @MrsRodgerDodger

Sad that things aren't going great for you a lot of us know the feeling. Hugs

    Thanks for the replies all.
So, we got a call this arvo,
Trigger injection tonight and insemination tomorrow at 11!..... Im extremely nervous about the trigger injection as have read lots about it hurting/stinging.
I'm doing really well with injections in general so at least I'm not running down the hall crying. Well done me😂
I'm not having any egg collection, we are having the sperm put directly into my cervix tomorrow (iui process and thats it) and then hopefully will have just a 2ww and fingers crossed for a positive test!
We have spent a year building up to this. I can barely believe it's happening!
When my husband rang and told me we are booked in for tomorrow I lost it. I freaked out and got angry at him (stupid hormonal reaction?) he was a bit shocked. I am just feeling really all over the place with this process.
I'm sure it's normal... But very annoying.
I'm looking forward to the wait being over, when ever that may be!

    Default Iui injection questions

So excited for you Evelynn - that is great news! Keep us posted! Don't worry too much about the injection, it may sting but will be so worth it in the end!

I'm doing bloods every 2 days at the moment to see what's going on but I'm 99% sure this is a failed cycle! We will skip October cycle as I'll be away and commence IVF in November - that's the plan anyways!

    Xx

The trigger was fine when the needle was going in.
When the liquid went in..... Omg..... I swore so much!! It really really hurt lol!
And i have to have one on monday and Thursday.... Not looking forward to that.
But we had our iui done yesterday! Hubby made me stay home on bed rest lol. He didn't want those bad boys falling out haha.
Now we are in that infuriating time of waiting!
I certainly don't feel pregnant which had me worried for the first half of yesterday. And then i thought well i wouldnt necessarily feel any different yet. I need to stop over thinking!!
    Only time will tell.
Mrs rodgerdodger, im sad that this may be a failed cycle for you.
This whole process is hard sometimes! Especially when our bodies are not cooperating!
Lots of virtual hugs to you and im really enjoying hearing your journey!

Thanks Evelynn, still in limbo here, hopefully we will have some news this week.

How did the IUI go? Was it painful or uncomfortable?

When are you testing to see if you have a BFP?

Im really sorry to hear that mrsrodgerdodger! What a huge bummer!
I have my fingers crossed for the next step! And hope to hear something exciting next month!

The iui hurt a little bit. But it was probably more uncomfortable than painful. But he fiddled around down there for about 15 minutes with different instruments and cotton wool and other bits so not the best experience lol. But once it was over it didn't hurt any more it was just while it was happening.

Blood test this morning (which they said looked perfect, what ever that actually means I'm not really sure!) and then another pregnyl tonight and Thursday.
Able to test on 7th October.
I am feeling like im pregnant tho, having had two pregnancies before, I remember this feeling even tho it's so early. But i have to be honest and say I'm doubting myself bc im taking pregnyl which I believe mimics the pregnancy hormone, so it makes sense that im getting these feelings!!
I just have to keep reminding myself that I can't do anything else now but wait. Just focus on what we want and wait..... Until the 7th! Lol
I cannot wait to find out! Wishing the week and a half until then away!
