I was the same as you @ChannyV always tested in the afternoon. I thought you weren't meant to test in the morning with OPK's?
That's only because they say the surge usually starts in the afternoon, so if you have a short surge you can miss it. If you have a surge that lasts more than a day it's fine. I always test with FMU as I drink a lot in the day and the wee is too dilute in the afternoon. You can't get a false positive on an OPK unless you're pregnant!
