Grrr ladies I was so pumped for this cycle but I've come down with the flu
GP has prescribed antibiotics but are these safe when ttc?
I read somewhere (no idea where and if it was true) that its better to have a low immune system when ttc so that ur body doesn't fight off the sperm as an alien in the body

Any suggestions? Off the FS in the morning to see whether this cycle of clomid worked so might hold off from starting antibiotics until I check with fs

I'm pretty sure you'll be ok with taking antibiotics while ttc

You will be ok taking antibiotics. It's your immune cells that attack sperm, antiobiotics can only kill bacteria.
However the flu is a virus so antibiotics won't help unless you have a secondary bacterial infection. Before taking antibiotics I'd be wanting a swab done to confirm bacterial infection, otherwise you're just decimating your gut flora for no good reason.

I used a bit of pre-seed tonight...stayed laying down (hips elevated) for 40 mins but so much came out when I went to the loo....I hope it was the lube and that the swimmers made the journey!!

I was told that any swimmers that are going to get in, get in pretty quick so most of the stuff that comes out when you go to the toilet was never going to make it anyways and it's normal for a lot of it to be "discarded".
