Default 1 week late BFN... Interesting symptoms

    Hi everyone,
I am now officially 1 week late for AF I am not stressing out about any of it, just a bit impatient to know either way now! I tested again today, BFN! Booked in to see a dr next Wednesday, so hopefully will have some idea of what's going on in a weeks time.

So we are TTC baby #1 and have been since February this year. I am very regular with my cycle since coming off the pill in Jan(my last round). I have had bad cramps and almost like stabbing shooting pains each month when AF is due or has just started, tell tale sign really for me is when I go to the loo I feel the shooting pains before I get AF. Okay so very sorry if this is tmi! I have not experienced any of that so far to indicate AF is on its way!
So far I have experienced fatigue(not every day), I have been extremely gassy(every single day), I have been experiencing an uncomfortable but not painful sort of feeling in my stomach/abdomen (pretty much like bloating, even when I haven't eaten anything and just woken up), frequent urination (need to go maybe twice more a day than usual). I have also been checking my cervix, and it is high and soft. It was low a couple of days before AF was due, but soon after I noticed it went back to being high.

The weirdest of them all is that this morning our dog, who loves DH and rarely ever snuggles up to me when Dh is around, got up on the bed, and came and lay his head on my lower abdomen... Now I know this could really be reading into things... But I have heard dogs can sense these things even before we know?
I suppose it is possible I am the unfortunate 1 in 10 women who's hcg levels don't rise enough to show on a hpt? But I feel like this could be unlikely.

Does anyone have any false negative stories they would like to share? Sending you all baby dust X

I don't have a success story, but wanted you to know I'm in a similar boat. BFN and past due for AF. I have different symptoms, vomited twice yesterday and once two days ago, horrible heartburn that lasts for hours, a lot more tired than usual, high/soft/wet/closed cervix.

I'm the same as you, not too fussed which way it goes, I just want an answer.

Thank you for taking the time to reply! I am glad I am not the only one who is going through this. Makes things a little easier! Have you booked in to see a dr and get a blood test done? I would love to know how you get on, if you can keep me updated

No doctors yet. Going to buy a new test tomorrow and test on Saturday if AF hasn't shown by then. Will decide what to do after that

    @Sapphire1992 best of luck

also just to let you know that getting stabbing pains when having a bowel motion when you have your period could be a sign of endometriosis. It was the only sign that I had it.

hope you see a double line soon

    Hi Bongley,
Thank you for that! My mum and oldest sister had endo, dr did say could be possible for me. However I did get Prayed for healing at church last month, and I believe I am healed and I am waiting for our little miracle and those two lines!

Well, if you're still having troubles after 12 months of trying might be worth mentioning to your GP or a fertility specialist (FS). Endometriosis affects egg quality.

    Default Fingers crossed

I too have missed AF on day number 5 with 3 BFN.

Not concerned but I'm generally not late so am confused that I'm late but not pregnant.

Having dizziness and a general unwell feeling with the suspected cramps.

It's really odd that you can have all theses symptoms and not text pos but still no AF!
