    Default R U OK Day 2016

    Today is R U OK Day. It's aim is to increase awareness about mental health, and to encourage people to ask how others are really going, and to let people know it's ok to say you're not ok. Please, ask others the question. A conversation could save a life.

    If you are in crisis or are just not ok, Lifeline has people on the other end of the phone and you can be completely anonymous if you wish. Their website also has loads of resources that can help.

    Speak with your GP or someone you trust. It's hard to start the conversation, but getting your support in place is a massive step to help.

    Hugs to those of you who are not ok.

    I hope you've got some support from friends and families to help you through.

    Is there anything we can do to help. I can lend an ear and a metaphorical shoulder if you need to vent.

    I am glad to hear from those of you who are ok, and especially those of you who have not been ok but find themselves ok now.

    I am not ok today. My anxiety has been creeping back in with firm footholds, and I am struggling with it. But I am getting a plan in place. I just need to wait for my doctor to come back from holidays, because I know she will listen.
