Default Faint Positive or Evaporation line?

    Hi. So, here's the basics:

I'm on my 2nd month of the pill following a chemical pregnancy just before starting it. My 1st withdrawal bleed was light bleeding and only lasted 3-4 days instead of my usual 7 days but I've heard that it's quite common for your periods to become lighter and shorter while on the pill.

2nd withdrawal bleed...was completely different. No red bleeding, just this icky brown discharge that lasted 1-2 days. Slight cramping but that was it.

Since the brown stuff has stopped though I feel very PMS like. Moody, sore and sensitive boobs, bloating, cravings, you name it. Plus, I've been experiencing the urge to pee more so than usual and been really nauseous the last 2 days. Frequent headaches also.

I took an FRER HPT whilst the brown discharge was happening and it was a complete BFN. However yesterday I did a Forelife 10ml HPT and I think there's a line but it's hard to tell whether it's pink or not and you can only really barely see it under certain lightening and some squinting so I assumed an evaporation line. Upon feeling even worse, today, I tried out a Crystal Clear HPT this afternoon and just chucked it in my drawer. Later when I went back to check on it, half an hour or so later, there was a faint but thick blue line in the test part. But, I don't know whether it being so faint and not knowing the timespan it appeared whether it's an evap or not.

I've attached a picture of it. If anyone could provide any insight, advice or just your opinion, I would much appreciate it. Thank you in advance xx

    Thank you ☺

I thought, considering the thickness of the line that it couldn't be an evap. But I don't completely trust blue dye so going to get an FRER today and retest today!

Just did an FRER and BFN 😯 Either it's an evaporation line which I feared or my urine was too diluted.

I'd have said a positive too, might your urine have been too diluted?

Maybe. I can't be sure. I will try and hold for a few hours and try again. Maybe better results this time.

Well, another BFN yesterday on FRER test though I think my urine was diluted again. I'm struggling to hold for long.

Going to re-test this afternoon. Holding as long as I can. How long do you ladies think is long enough? 3 or 4 hours?

Blue dye test are just so heart breakingly untrustworthy. I'd say because your FRER are neg, that the blue test was an evap. If you look at them any time after ten minutes, they seem to always leave a second line! It sucks.

Good luck with the FRER, I'd definitely say 3-4 hours would be long enough.

I apologise for hijacking. I just wanted to ask, when you say the blue dye ones are untrustworthy, is there a reason for this? And untrustworthy what way? False pos, false beg or both?
