@ange1111 thank you my acupuncturist is also a naturopath and she only sees fertility patients. So she has seen A lot of protocols and knows what seems to work and what doesn't. Does DR M work with your FS or do you do it independently?

also, G was going to check but thought I'd ask here. Do you take Neupogen on day of IVIG?
@Olive79 hope your going ok and the bed rest is helping.
Ivig does take longer so I think dr m goes to ivig patients first. Unfortunately you won't get out earlier. They always told me to be there at 2 and then it was usually an hour til I got cannula and another hour or two til dr m got there! And I was almost always the last one out, after midnight.
You take the neupogen same day. I used to stick myself in the hospital bed at the same time as I was having the ivig. I asked dr m, it was fine.

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum but have read a lot of posts from you lovely ladies and while we are so complicated, its been nice to know there are possible solutions out there.
I lost my baby at 14wks last Sept15 and have had a possible early miscarriage in May this year.
I have PCOS, Raynauds Disease, Fibromyalgia / CFS, High ANA, Thyroid Antibodies, hetro. Leiden Factor V, het. MTHFR, low Vit D, 1 DQ Alpha gene match, 35% NK Cells in my uterus...

I've recently seen Dr M and Dr L. I just wanted to know if anyone has any views on IVF vs natural conception? Given more of our issue in reproductive immunology is implementation and holding onto the pregnancy rather than conception, I was hoping to hear your thoughts. I'm 33 now and have only just started protocols with Dr M/Dr L and IVF could be the logical next choice but am thinking of trying with the protocol first for a few months which Dr M has told me is chlomid and pres. steroids until a positive pregnancy test and then prog. pessaries, clexane and to call him for further treatment.

It also sounds like some ladies have done LIT/IVIg/Intraplilds before ovulation/transfer? I thought it would be done post a positive pregnancy test? But it sounds like people are different - do you know why this is?

    Thanks ladies x

Hi and welcome. Firstly, sorry for your loss.
I was on dr m's protocol and wanted to try naturally first because I had no problem getting pregnant. He was fine with this and agreed that we should try for three months while taking the meds. We did, and I didn't fall pregnant. True to Murphy's law, in the fourth month before I went back to see dr m, I fell pregnant. I went in for ivig a day or two after, and unfortunately lost that pregnancy. Some people need all the treatment before falling pregnant because their bodies won't even allow the embryo to implant properly. I lost a baby at 26 weeks (first pregnancy, no meds at all as I didn't know about my immune issues) and dr m told me the problem probably started at implantation stage. Having said that, many lucky ladies are able to start treatment upon a positive test and all is well. Depends on your body and your issues.
I eventually turned to ivf simply because I didn't want to be on so much medication for a long time while I tried naturally. Costly and not good for you. I had a healthy baby boy 6 months ago.
Good luck, there are so many women here who have had success xx.

Hi an welcome. Sorry to hear of your losses.
My story is quite similar in that I can conceive naturally but was losing babies between 4-19 weeks.
I got diagnosed after that with high NK cells, partial DQ match, low vit D, low zinc, het MTHFR
I conceived current pregnancy with letrozole assistance and am 7+1 so far. Began using Dr M protocol at BFP and so far it's all going okay.
I had first Intralipids and 11dpo and another a 6 weeks and next scheduled for 12 if we make it that far. I also take 20mg pred and 60 of Clexane.
Wishing you all the best and you can get a plan that suits your situation

Just a quick question girls once pregnant how long do you have to keep doing Intralipids? Does everyone have to do it the whole way thru pregnancy?

Lastchance 75. I will have the 7th Intrallipid next month at 29th Weeks. This is going to be my last one. A friend also had her last one @ 30 weeks. I guess around 30 weeks would be his ideal.

I started Dex 3 weeks before transfer.

So finally got my NKC results from June...turns out my level is 30%. I'm on 10mg of prednisolone but I'm thinking of upping to 20mg after EPU today. My FS isn't big on this stuff and BIBs recommended book arrived by Alan Beer I'm gonna go thru that. I haven't had any of those other tests so god knows what will show up in those.....

Hi Phia, which dr are you seeing for your immunology issues? The book puts a lot in perspective !
