@Lastchance75 - out of interest, what is the benefit of the saline drip before and after? Is it a hydration thing?
I ask because I'm getting it done in Qld and they do saline for 1/2 hour before and after and wondered whether that was ok and what's more important is the intralipids itself being done over a longer period..
Yes for hydration. I don't think it would make much of a difference for that one to only be done in half an hour.
Oh hun, look at him!! What a beautiful BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL little boy! He is just SO CUTE!! He is perfect!! A perfect little boy!! Oh my goodness how beautiful!! I don't know how you're going to take your eyes away from him to go to sleep!! I can't look away!!
Huge huge huge congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love your enthusiasm ping lol. The nurses told me the saline was for hydration and also to flush every bit of ivig out of the tubes at the end.
Did you have some bleeding? Glad they checked and everything is ok. How you feeling today? Maybe call them and see if you should go in this week instead of next?
Yep I did that, so I should see you again! I just didn't want to wait.
Tiny bit of blood but of course I had a freak out. Rang Dr M this morning he faxed over a scan referral and I had another scan today. All looks good but placenta is close to cervix.
