Btae is there! You all should find each other!! Lol
Did you have your appointment with Dr M on fri @pingc383 ??
I am staying the night and flying to Brisbane tomorrow morning, still over an hour to go on the soymilk then the remaining saline, after they get rid of needle, I need to do my FSH injection!!
Ok, so I saw Dr M and yes, Gwyneth was lovely. She's terrible at jokes, but she's quite lovely.
It was a quick meeting with Dr M. He counted my NKCs in bloods and said they were elevated. He said elevated anti-thyroglobulin was an issue, even tho my anti-peroxidase is within normal range.
My B cells were also elevated, from what I could see, but I didn't ask him about them.
My DH and I are partial DQ alpha and beta matches, but he didn't seem concerned and said at this stage, I would only need intralipids and if that didn't work, LIT and IVIG.
For now, he wants to do a biopsy for NKC. I told him Wazza suggested I do hysterscopy/lipodial flush/biopsy/scratch. Dr M said he would do them but not lipodial flush cos he didn't think it would do anything.
I showed him Wazza's proposed protocol for next cycle and he was happy with the doses or prednisone and clexane, but he didn't want me to take Feldene. Wazza put me on a stack of meds for lining. Dr M agreed with them, but not with Feldene, so I'm not going to take Feldene. Dr M said he felt Feldene could be a bit too much and have a reverse effect.
For those of you who did NKC biopsy with Dr M, how long did it take for the results to come back? Did any of you do a lipodial flush and do you recommend it? I suppose I could still do it with Wazza around EPU. It's unlikely I will transfer any embies this up and coming cycle because I'm getting any embies I get PGD tested, even if it's just one embie.
Dr M only charges $450 OOP for biopsy and anaesthetist is bulk billed, depending on the day. If it's on a day with a different anaesthetist, I have to pay $300 OOP.
Waiting for an appointment for biopsy, which has to be at the end of this week. Hoping I can be fit in before I start my cycle..
