It can be injected anywhere around your middle section, eg upper thighs, stomach (but not too close to belly button), etc. I always did mine on my side, around my hips. Some people ice the area first but I didn't find it necessary. 'Pinch an inch' of fat and push needle in at a 45 degree angle and slowly inject. I found the injecting part to be the worst, sometimes it would burn like a b!tch. I always had a tissue handy cos there'd be a bit of blood afterwards. And always switch up injection sites as it can bruise. Make sure you do it roughly at the same time every day.
I can't believe they didn't show you how to do it! You get used to it though.

Thanks! So as your belly is more pregnant do you switch to the back? I would be way to scared to inject in belly once it starts to grow.

Also, there's an air bubble intentionally left in the syringe - don't expel it. And also, count to 5 after injecting all the clexane before you take the needle out.
Ahh it's all coming back to me...

No you stay in stomach once pregnant

I know you can use the thigh, but stomach under belly button is ideal

    Brusing is epic!!
    But happens to everyone

I was always scared to do it in the stomach for some dumb reason. And once my belly grew I found the area too tight to pinch any fat. Do it where you feel comfortable.

That just made me shiver! He wants me on it from BFP to 35 weeks ish.
I'm not a huge fan of needles and I'll have to do 2 needles per day to get the dosage Dr M wants.
