Oh @Tahli I am tearing up. I am so relieved for you. What brilliant numbers!
@pingc383 Ta Hun! It would have been a combo of all the meds but I'd never tried Neuprogen, Trental, Feldene, Fish Oil, Barocca, Prednisone, Zinc, Ethinyl Estradiol, Viagra pessaries rather than tablets, and Nitrodur. So it's hard to say exactly. Either way, I'm not looking a gift horse in the mouth, and don't want to question it all too much. I just want to enjoy catching a break because as we all know that can change quickly. I finally have some invaluable hope again.
Hi lovely ladies, ive been so crazy stupidly busy lately, havent had time to clog up the thread with ridiculously long posts. ;-) @Charlie74 good luck with your appointment tomorrow. Sounds like your in good hands (the best actually). @tuxcat they say the single most important factor in a successful donor cycle is the age of your donor so if she's young, it has as good a chance of working as any fertile woman of that age. (Sometimes i look at the girls in my yr11 and yr12 classes and im like, if only i had no morals or principals id harvest you like a wheat field.... like in those movies where people wake up in a bath full of ice cubes with a massive scar and missing a kidney.) Disclaimer: this post does not endorse illegally stealing body parts or organs.
A bit of a call-out to anyone who did the Known Donor program in Brisbane and used Supercare to help them withdraw Super funds to do it. Apparently there is quite specific ways of putting the paperwork together to ensure that it goes through, and I'm desperate for help if anyone has any information to share as I want to get my application in urgently.
I know @MamaKes posted on here last week offering info about exactly this but she hasn't answered my PMs so I'm hoping there was someone else who may have used Supercare for the Known Donors.
Pregnant for the first-time?
Not sure where to start? We can help!
