Anyhoo I got an update from the embryologist today. I have 2 eggs fertilised yesterday of the 6 retrieved. Hoping for the to reach day 5 for PGD but also not raising my hopes too much! Last time I had 11 eggs retrieved, 6 fertilised and only 2 made it to day 5. I'm slowly preparing myself (mentally) for another stim cycle next time I think they'll have to try something other than Gonal f.

I'm sorry to hear more of your eggs didn't fertilise Luv

We''ll just have to hope these 2 go the distance for you until Day 5

and prayers being sent for them to keep on growing!!!!!

Will you get a Day 3 report???

They said I'll get a report on day 6 and I was like wth?? I can't wait for that long, at my previous clinic they gave updates every day. The embryologist then said oh you can call your nurse if you want an update. Such great service (not) after paying thousands of dollars.

@Mongol - different medication protocols work for different people. FWIW I did two cycles of pure Menopur - got two to day 5 from each but both tested abnormal on PGD. The other two cycles were pure Gonal f and Gonal f plus luveris from day 5. It was the Gonal f plus luveris cycle where I got my only normal embryo.

Hello lovely ladies, just popping in to say happy friday xox AF came yesterday so i started my progynova to prepare for my DE cycle. Im sure ive taken progynova before but cant remember what it did to me side effects wise or what other crazy drugs i was on that may have been mixed in there, so we'll wait and see. From the menu of side effects in the information booklet , i liked the look of the 'enlarged breasts' not so keen on the 'depression and anxiety'. Had enough of that already ;-)

    Default IVF over 40#39

Congrats on starting the marathon @gorgeousgeorge AF smacked a few of us this week. Yesterday was CD1 for me. We are syncing up.
@Mongol Luveris was added to my 3rd cycle. I credit Luveris for our best cycle and last cycle. We even got frosties which was a miracle for us.

Have a good weekend everyone. xx

Oh and @Charlie74 Happy Birthday too for the weekend! (Did I get the right person..?)
