@Maxwellsmum I'm just packing to head up to Qld in a few days. I have my first lining scan with Warren next Wednesday, cd11, if he wants to up my meds to try and increase my lining, which ones should I pack extra of? Ethinyl Oestradiol, Progynova, Sandrena, Estraderm, Viagra? Trental and Nitrodur? Help!!
When mine was dismal he wrote me scripts on the spot but you are already on them. He will increase sandrena, progynova and the patches. He has never increased my viagra, Trental, nitrodur or EO. In saying that though he could do anything.
At least you know if he does throw anything in they have spares at the clinic if the meds are hard to source or they will do you up a script....so don't panic.

I don't know last cycle I did my viagra in the pm as I had to space it in between presseries 2 and 3

I'm sorry but I am ROLLING at you Gaffa taping up your fanny. How's that going to work if you meet a handsome surfer man on the plane at the peak of your Eostrogen desire. The mix just boggles my mind. Gaffa, Tahli, Eostrogen patches hanging all over your body, all the sticky marks from patches on your feet and butt not to mention the 60mg clexane belly bruises add in an extremely hot tanned surfer man with blonde curly hair and sea blue eyes and then good old wazza increasing your eostrogen intake up just because he can. I think something might explode or implode .

BIB happy birthday for when it is and I think those presents sound wonderful

Hoping everyone's info is up to date???

Anyhoo....I've had an eventful day as per though I did manage to pop over to my eldest sisters place for lunch where she presented me with an early b'day pressie of some delish handmade honeycomb chocolate she picked up at the markets on the weekend. Will post a pic shortly

She told me I had to "savour the experience" (I know it would've been bloody expensive stuff) which will be a challenge for good, old "Hoover Lips" over here!!! I reckon it won't last 24 hours in the fridge!!!

I also received another early birthday present last week at the hairdressers when I was having my "Houso Makeover" done when my hairdresser told me I'd managed yet again to dodge the "curse of the greys" thus far!!!! Yes, it seems in my old age, they've yet to make an appearance though I know full well I'm on borrowed time Ladies

However, to the vain part of myself that does feel severely anxious and maniacally hysterical about my approaching old age...the part that enters the big lotto draws hoping to win so I can have enough money to pay for unlimited botox/fillers and other cosmetic enhancements for the rest of my days as well as the part that intends to take as much HRT for as long as is possibly safe to do so (hello Progynova my old friend!!!)...that part of myself was really pleased to receive this piece of welcome news!!!!

Of course, I'm saving the best until last ...my final and by far the greatest of them all early b'day present was that I've finally got a date for DD to see the Paed in regards to getting the ball rolling r.e the ASD assessment/diagnosis!!!! Yes....all that wheel sqeaking and pushing, shoving and not taking "no" for an answer has finally paid off!!!!

I received a copy of the letter in the mail a few weeks ago from the last Paed she saw at the hospital (we can call her "T*ts on a Bull II") which she had written to the Paed that Lilly is going to see for the assessment etc asking for this Paed to see Lilly for a review etc so I've been waiting for an appointment to be given to me to do just that. The ironic thing is I was writing an email to enquire as to what was going on in regards to securing said appointment when the Admin lady called while I was halfway through writing it to book the date and time with me!!!!

Anyhoo...the date is the 13th of October so not too long to go now until we can get things happening finally!!!! Ok....that's about it from my end for the moment. Must go for now. Be back later on.....
    Great news!

@Bib surely you've eaten it/inhaled it by now?!
@Tahli let me know successful gaffa tape is for waxing would ya?! I did try once to wax myself, the day before going on holiday. Unfortunately I didn't pull the skin tight enough and ended up with a wicked purple bruise on my inner inner thigh. I think it was still there by the time I got home!

@Summer hey how are you going with your mum? I also have issues with my mum when she comes to stay and I tip toe around on eggshells when I'm around her never knowing what will set her off, it's totally anxiety provoking.......so sad really. I really envy all the close mother/daughter relationships that are like best friends. It's hard when you've come from such a dysfunctional family life growing up to wanting to create your own closeknit family and special bonds, righting all the wrongs of the past and not being able to due to infertility.

Happy birthday @bib it sounds like those gifts need to keep rolling in. Maybe a cosmetic voucher?? Glad to hear things are moving with your dd also, what a relief to at least get to the starting line.

Thanks for sharing that article @Charlie74. I'm starting to wonder if any of the drugs do anything anymore. The FS in ct said you fix the eggs then you got no problems. Unfortunately dud eggs are just that and no amount of steroids can make them stick maybe?

Thanks so much all you lovely ladies for your support and kind words - huge thanks to gorgeousgeorge for your kind note. I got a counselling appointment with Monash for Monday which the earliest available they had. Have also got an appointment with my GP tomorrow. I have pretty much slept all day and feeling very sick, super nauseous! I'm sure it's either the horrendous Metformin or the injections. Can't wait for this cycle to be over and I don't think I can do this anymore. I was going very positive and strong so far and suddenly feel like I've been hit by a bus.
All of you are super supportive and helpful, wish I'd found this forum earlier. Hoping for a smooth Egg collection tomorrow

Most women aren't on Prednisolone. It's mostly only the one's with known immune issues that are. Plus there is a difference between Prednisone and Prednisolone.

I also read "may impair healthy pregnancy" not "will impair healthy pregnancy"...big difference there IMO. Lots of the drugs we do in IVF "may impair" either our embryo's/pregnancy/ourselves....it's weighing up the benefit to risk ratio at the end of the day as far as I'm concerned.
