Caesardust, im not tagging you in case you need a break and some bubhub time out but if you do read this message at some stage, know that ive been thinking about you and i hope you are ok, much love to you xox
And same for Tinachris and Heyside, ive missed you and i hope life inbetween cycles is treating you well and reminding you that life has lots of good along with the bad xox
@Charlie74 thanks dear, not long till your wazza appointment, we might be cycle buddies
@Faithandhopelove hi huh, it is a long tough road and I foolishly thought it would just take a few cycles to get some pgd normal embryos. I was teary reading about your little bubba, RIP.
@gorgeousgeorge definitely! You guys are so supportive of each and any newbies.
@pingc383 thanks Hun, I got 3 out of 4 last cycle, hopefully we all get there soon. I tested for cystic fibrosis even we are doing pgd
@Jazzabelle13 dh follows the usual wazza supplement but he slacks off on icing and aloe Vera juice. We did icsi and picsi
@Grace1 hi yay! It took me a while to speak up haha...
@Tahli you can get Mersyndol (over the counter) for the headache. I bought it but it hasn't been that bad except the first time I was on it, my friend who took it last cycle said it worked well.
Hi to everyone else I may have missed, still catching up on updates.
I cracked up when I read about warren's squeezes and icing, dh changed to boxer but just couldn't do the icing bit (I also remember it is 30 mins) he showers them with cold water, poor guy haha.
Welcome new faces. Too lazy to go back to tag. One thing I wish I'd done is PGD or CHG. It seems like a lot of money to spend but 9 transfers later we would have saved thousands of dollars.
Oh and book in for wazza now his waiting list is like a year. You can do your first cycles wherever and if you get a BFP then just cancel the appoitment with wazza.
Spazzyp - gather as much technical information as you can - read articles, read forums so you are armed with knowledge and don't be afraid to ask your FS about things you have read.
Research!!! Ask your FS what the "live birth rate" is for your age group. The "Pregnancy Rate" of the Clinic means fruck all in the big scheme of things, you want to know what the "Live Birth Rate" (i.e the "take home a baby from the hospital" rate) is as that's where the truth lies about what your chances really are per Cycle when you have an embryo transfered.
Find out if your FS believes in "Immune Issues" causing issues in preventing embryo's from implantanting or causing MC's etc (research it and what it means) because if at any stage you believe you might have them and you're with a FS who doesn't believe in them then they won't do the testing that's needed to find out, nor will they treat them which will be a waste of bloody time and may stop you from getting pregnant etc.
Don't be afraid to go to another FS sooner rather than later if you're not happy with the one you're with!!! Don't stay and waste time and money, go as soon as possible. I second @Tahli's suggestion of getting on Wazza's waitlist now (ask to go on his cancellation list)
If you're not sure of something or need any questions answered, come and ask us here on the thread anytime Luv ok??? Trust me when I say you don't need a FS when you have "The Panel" here at your disposal!!!
The drugs *may* fruck you around in ways you never thought possible turning you into a weeping mess one minute and the Incredible Hulk the next!!! There may also be bloating, heaviness in the lower abdomen akin to a turtle full of eggs, increased CM, breast tenderness/pain, headaches and many other unpleasant side effects to look forward to.......NOT!!!! Try to drink plenty of fluids...2L a day if you can Luv
