I had an ultrasound guided transfer. I think Monash do them as a matter of course. If they hadn't done one I would have asked for one but only as I was paranoid about implantation in my Caesar scar which I was told at my tube flushing scan, whatever that's called, increased my risk of Caesar scar ectopic. My scar has separated slightly. I wanted to see that catheter going in way past my lower uterus where that scar was!
@Maxwellsmum I'm sure it can't hurt, I have read somewhere that keeping the ball bags cool is important and cool showers are the better than hot ones and definitely no saunas or spas so it makes sense. Also no undies or at least very loose ones as they can even be too constrictive and damage the goods.
Although this new remedy may take a bit of convincing baha
Re: the ultrasound transfer thingy, my fs didn't do them but he said he didnt because when he did my lap/hyst he had measurements of my uterus so he would know how 'far' to go. So if your fs doesnt use them, they might already have measurements from previous procedures or ultrasounds :-)
There's a thread titled Pill Wedding Honeymoon Baby. She's wanting advice on when to stop the pill so she's not pregnant before her wedding/honeymoon. I don't have the heart to pop in and say I stopped the pill in June 2011 before my wedding in July 2011. Spent our honeymoon in July/August 2011 arguing with DH as he didn't like me drinking too many cocktails as we both were thinking I'd get pregnant and I'm STILL not pregnant
