Good luck Blossom 74... hoping for a very positive outcome...

Georgeousgeorge.. I have read your post so many times... what a wonderful post! Yes you must be an amazing teacher... I am also doing my degree in teaching and am on my last teaching round.. had a late change in career due to the brain trauma...Compared to my earlier teaching rounds, I am finding it very hard to maintain my enthusiasm with 6 year olds after hearing about the miscarriage last week.... have twken a few days off....but my studies have definately been my piller of strength during the past few years..... the small accomplishments of getting a HD in your assessment .... I am going to miss this when the studies are over...

Chiefsgirl thanks for your post and support too... xx

Yes our donor is ready and so should be the surrogate shortly. They need to sync their cycles.... People who have chosen to use DE..... how important were the height and weight of the donor for you? For eg my donor is a very petite woman...under 50 kgs I think...( all the girls in Ukraine are) and I am a size 14 to 16 girl.. then she is shorter than me too.... I really do not think you can match a lot of things... honestly I just want a healthy baby I know.... but want to be double sure of my choices by asking thhe experienced girls...

Blondeinbrisvegas how are you hun? I really want to thank you for referring me to the greay Wazza.. What a man he is ! Though we did not do ivf with him.....Had we not met him on your advice, we would have still not been able to make our decision about surrogace and DE... and also kudos for keeping up this thread live and active... hope you dd is doing good too xoxo
My donor looks nothing like me. She has dark hair and eyes and is super skinny where as I'm fair and fat and blonde. It's good to see you back here @Sue77. I'm sorry you're having a hard time but your new plans sound amazing. This is the right place for you. .

GG thank god its 50/50 or the world would be a sausage fest damn straight it would be.
So you are all packed. Greece doesn't know what's about to hit them with your imminent arrival Safe travels hun and best of luck.
I wished our @Tahli the same in safe house but will say it here too. Enjoy your dinner Tahli. I hope mischief enjoys his kennel stay poor little dude. He'll be fine I guess it's much like daycare for dogs. Bet you shed a tear dropping him off. Imagine the reunion.

@gorgeousgeorge are you in Sydney or regional? Our tuxxy will be mad at me for leaving her alone for a day and a half, she will bury herself under our doona at some point, poor little darling who is looking after your kitties?
@tuxcat lol, yeah i forgot 300km radius is actually a fair distance, regional nsw, middle of nowhere, but i like that. My mum will come and feed the cats each day but im already worried about them. I give them little pep talks about not playing on the road and making sure they stay safe while we're away.

You should record a pep talk and get your Mum to play it to them each day when she feeds them.
I bought a feeder for my cat and you can record messages on it. It's set on a timer so when it feeds him it plays the message. I had to turn it off though as the dogs cottoned onto it and were out scoffing the food before it even hit the bowl. While the cat just kept sleeping.
It's a good idea in theory if you don't have greedy dogs.
