@tuxcat woohoo! Great numbers. Just postcode stalked you and you don't live too far from me xx
@gorgeousgeorge yep it was this morn. My update is about 45 pages back as everyone chats so much! First FET next cycle starting 3rd Oct. November was too lonely. Im not far behind you now. October is now POASCTOBER. @Blossom74 is going to lose her mind and even lead the FRER gang.

Second call - Anyone know the difference between Oripro & Endometrin? Thanks @Grace1 for your info xx

Yeah, if it was anything, it would be that the problem was with that x chromosome i think and therefore a problem with xx embryos being homozygous, not so much your ability to carry them as such, i reckon.

Actually yes I did it was a full 50/50 split which I was really surprised with. I swear my hubby only has male spermie in there.

@gorgeousgeorge do you get any hint of how it's going with your DE cycle?
@faithandhopellove hi :-) no i have no idea, just that dr.n wants us to go to the clinic from the airport for dh to do his part (poor thing) so epu is happening on that day, although i think, if donor needs a day or 2 more to stim, we have time to stick around if that happens.

I should clarify because i said before, something about a 'back up donor'. And id hate to be misleading or sound definate when im not 100% sure. I know dr.n said he had 2 suitable donors chosen for me. But i doubt theyd make 2 ladies do the stims up to epu, then only choose one at that late stage??? Unless they use the 'spare' donor to make donor embryos for other ladies? But theyd have a lot of pre-prepared donor embies if every donor cycle worked like that and the epu is expensive procedure but maybe they do twilight sedation epu???. I will try to ask dr.n about that. I know one lady who went to a different greece clinic and at her donors follie scan on the day, she had 1 follicle (omg) and they found her a different suitable donor within 24 hours and did epu with the second choice donor the next day. So ??? Im pretty sure they have some sort of back up option but i cant figure out how it actually works. I wonder, i have to pay 900euro for donor meds, so i wonder if that does pay for 2 ladies to take stim drugs up to just before epu? And then they just tell one lady, its not happening but surely youd want some compensation for stabbing yourself and having symptoms for 10-14 days. Im just not sure??? I will ask about it when im there. I know dr.n said "i have lots of ladies ready to go at anytime" so yeah, i dunno ???????

Yeah surprising but it makes sense that overall the world should be populated by 50/50 men vs women i guess. I dont wanna live on a sausage fest planet. Sometimes the universe does know what its doing, i suppose.

@Billie2 I know where you live...I remember u said u are a shire girl, I was born in Sutherland hospital and grew up in the shire...only I managed to escape! I won't hold it against you LOVE the Poasoctober! I'll be there. Don't know what Oripro is so can't tell you the difference, endometrin is better but

@gorgeousgeorge are you in Sydney or regional? Our tuxxy will be mad at me for leaving her alone for a day and a half, she will bury herself under our doona at some point, poor little darling who is looking after your kitties?

Tuxcat ... yay for the 15 eggs....fingers crossed

Good luck Blossom 74... hoping for a very positive outcome...

Georgeousgeorge.. I have read your post so many times... what a wonderful post! Yes you must be an amazing teacher... I am also doing my degree in teaching and am on my last teaching round.. had a late change in career due to the brain trauma...Compared to my earlier teaching rounds, I am finding it very hard to maintain my enthusiasm with 6 year olds after hearing about the miscarriage last week.... have twken a few days off....but my studies have definately been my piller of strength during the past few years..... the small accomplishments of getting a HD in your assessment .... I am going to miss this when the studies are over...

Chiefsgirl thanks for your post and support too... xx

Yes our donor is ready and so should be the surrogate shortly. They need to sync their cycles.... People who have chosen to use DE..... how important were the height and weight of the donor for you? For eg my donor is a very petite woman...under 50 kgs I think...( all the girls in Ukraine are) and I am a size 14 to 16 girl.. then she is shorter than me too.... I really do not think you can match a lot of things... honestly I just want a healthy baby I know.... but want to be double sure of my choices by asking thhe experienced girls...

Blondeinbrisvegas how are you hun? I really want to thank you for referring me to the greay Wazza.. What a man he is ! Though we did not do ivf with him.....Had we not met him on your advice, we would have still not been able to make our decision about surrogace and DE... and also kudos for keeping up this thread live and active... hope you dd is doing good too xoxo
