Does anyone believe that some people just can't carry boys or just can't carry girls? Do you think there would be a difference?

My mum always talks about how my Grandma had issues carrying boys, she lost twin boys who were still born, Im not sure at what gestation, and with her only son she had to have bed rest for the whole pregnancy. He was then born safely and healthily and has been causing trouble ever since!!!

It was so long ago though when they obviously didn't know that much so its hard to say whether that was the actual reason or if it was something else. How they even knew the gender I don't even know so that example probably isnt worth much. She had thrombosis so that was probably a more likely reason for things going wrong. Who knows. I don't know how much info there is out there on that theory, have you read much about it?

I do wonder and I'm not sure if you would ever really know. I only ask because I miscarried a boy, not sure what the other ones were and have put back 4 girls and nothing. My sister thinks it could be an issue and I should put back a boy and girl this time. Maybe she's right. Suppose we'll never know.

PS: Have you let Aunty Flow know she's meant to be visiting today?

    Howdy!

OK, so feeling so much better today. Temperature is back to normal and I feel might brighter, so I'm not going to worry about the antibiotics at all. I think my body has foiught off the worst of it now. Yesterday morning was a low point but after 10am I could feel myself picking up and today all is well

Secondly, as of about an hour ago...I'm spotting. Pass the crapping bricks emoji, please.

And finally, re the progynova, I am to take 3 x 2mg tablets from CD1. No-one said anything about doing them vaginally so down the hatch they will go. Just waiting on a call back from my clinic to see if they want to treat today or tomorrow as CD 1 as I've only got light bleeding so far.

@Blossom74 Glad you're feeling better & AF is on her way by the sounds of it!!!! Yippee!!!😊👍

FWIW...I would've kept talking the Pred with the antibiotics anyway Luv.

Wazza adds in Feldene to his protocol which is an antibiotic which I took with the Pred.

As long as the antibiotic & Pred would cause no adverse reaction taken together then I would've done both even though it's a moot point now 😊

    Great news @Blossom74!

I second BIB's advice re the antibiotic, you want to cover all your bases as the last thing you need is for it to come back mid cycle.

Yippee for heading up to the starting blocks!!!

oh and Im not finished with the sh!tting bricks emoji yet, its only really just getting started!!
