@faithhopellove that does sound so sweet. It will be a sad day and very special day as well for the three of you xo
@MissDa and @Summer you both made me laugh. My 25kg ACD sleeps in bed with me and sometimes she rolls on her back spread eagled then she goes into such a deep sleep that when she rolls again in her sleep she rolls right off the bed. It is really funny she always gets very embarrassed when it happens.
@Summer that sounds awful upset tummy and no toilet I hear you sometimes you just got to do what you got to do. Look away people there's nothing to see here
@tuxcat ha ha I gave my bottle of scotch a small nudge last night that's for sure. So I did have a few *a humm* minutes that is. Man did I sleep well though.
Hello everyone, I have been reading few posts of this forum and have crossed over from the SA egg donation forum. We recently went over to to cfc in capetown for our first egg donation IVF cycle but unfortunately received negative results last friday. However I was contacted recently by an egg donor here in Australia offering to donate but with the conditions that if pregnancy is successul that she visits baby/babies ever year. Im not too sure and would like to know anyones thoughts or if they have the same set up with their known egg donor?
Me: 45 yrs, Hubby 44yrs
10 IVF cycles
10th cycle with first egg donor in SA, but BFN
considering another cycle in Australia.
good luck for your scan @Tahli
@tuxcat I've been leaving some dry food for little miss near the bedroom door so she can eat it during the night and still see me in the room. she doesn't tend to eat if I'm not in the room (when home - if I go out she does eat). I think she's still a bit anxious? but it's helping with the 3am & 6am wakeups she had started doing. so far. (as soon as I've said this she'll go back to waking me up again)
@Tahli good luck with your lining scan today And yes, I reckon a TET has the best chance of producing twins! @Caesardust and @Charlie74 how are you feeling @pingc383 do you have an apt lined up yet or are you on waiting lists, sorry, I can't remember
@Bib I think that's very commendable that you made a cake for your ex, you're a far better person that I would be in that situation...or did you lace it with rat poison (sorry, couldn't resist!)
Hi @tuxcat @winsor @Rhino @Summer @mitnite1 @maxwells mums @greenlady how are you? @Billie2 hope you are okay, have been thinking of you
@faithhopellove hope today goes as well as it can. I think what are doing for lil bubba sounds lovely. I hope you can take some peace from it
@Blossom74 I am still in shock its September, bet you are too! Its going to be a very exciting month methinks!
@Bongley I saw your message on the other thread, so just a couple more weeks before the POTB commences?! It wont be that bad, promise! I always think at least you get a couple of hours sleep - something I could so do with at the moment
AFM I ate like a pig this weekend and feel quite bloated today as a result of it. I stupidly made cakes again so of course a few of them and a bucketload of icing fell down my throat then for dinner I had bacon and egg sandwiches....nice but not very healthy with the amount of butter that is mandatory when I make them! @Blossom74 they were eggs from a farm we are trying out
Went to see DH's dad yesterday in the nursing home which was a bit sad tbh, he seemed a bit spaced out and didn't talk, not sure if its the morphine patches or not. Poor DH
Hope everyone is traveling well!
My donor and I have discussed future contact, she worded it beautifully by saying that it would be best to see how our relationship evolves. I told her that I didn't want her to be a stranger to our family and that planned on being honest with our child.
If we are successful ( or even if not) I'm sure she is someone I will always remain in contact with but I don't think locking in something your not comfortable is ideal.
Sometimes it can take time for the find the right donor or them to find you, are you on EDA?
Pregnant for the first-time?
Not sure where to start? We can help!
