@cookie good luck with your testing. We could end up cycling together.
@Flower78 I'm actually feeling good that we have a result. I think it would be hard to find out the baby was normal as I would feel worse that the baby is not with us still. I think we feel that hopefully through pgs testing we'll get a bit more "control" if you can call it that..? I'm hoping there aren't other issues with me and that it's just a numbers game of finding the right embryo. I actually feel thankful for this knowledge.

Fair enough @mish239 hopefully you get a better fertilisation rate this time. I've had two cycles be completely different before so there's definitely a chance this will be better. Menopur worked well for me as my Estrogen was really low. Hopefully they can find what's holding back the fertilisation. I went from one round getting 15 eggs...two making it to day 4...to 16 eggs...9 making it to day 5. Good luck. Xx

    Thanks @lotsathoughs.
Not in Adelaide but saw it on the news. Hope you get power back soon!!!

Can I ask how people are with cycles and exercise. I need to lose weight but my FS says I shouldn't do any strenuous exercise and just walk. I know my body and walking doesn't make me lose much weight!!!
She is quite strict on a lot of things, like telling me not to dye my hair - hating the greys but can live with that but really want to start exercising to lose weight.

Big hugs hun. It's really a terrible situation to be in... xx
Yeh it's not been easy. My pop passing put me in a tail spin as I've kinda been burying my head in the sand. He had a massive stroke then took 5 days to pass which made it harder the just waiting so I hear what you mean. Massive hugs babe xo Don't beat yourself up if you decide to cancel the cycle as you want your embryo to have the best chance possible (that's what I've been telling myself anyways).

Woohoo good luck. I'll be having my FET in around 4 weeks if AF is on time this month.

Now have scarred tubes from surgery.
Am currently in my 2ww of 4th fresh IVF cycle (7dp2dt)
1st cycle- 6eggs retrieved, 5 fertilised, only one left by transfer, got my period 4 days before blood test.
    2nd cycle- 2eggs retrieved, 0 fertilised.
    3rd cycle- cancelled
4th cycle- 7eggs retrieved, 4 fertilised, 1 transferred and 3 excellent blasts to freeze!!!!!!
So as I said, currently 7dp2dt, got moderate ohss straight after retrival, still hating on crinone devil gel, mega sore boobs, horrible cramping and backache on day 5 and 6, have tested out my trigger and to top it off I think I'm getting a cold (nose is all blocked ) now going crazy. Blood test is on 5/10
Welcome back. Were you in the March/April thread? Your name looks familiar. Congrats on being PUPO & I hope it's a bfp for you.

Oh @pingc383 are you ok hun? I'm sorry you've got this added stress to an already tough situation. You need to look after yourself, processing all of this is tough. Hope you're ok. And if you're not, hope you have to time to let yourself feel sad xxxx
@Gingerlion the headaches that come with the change in hormones are horrible aren't they?! It's nice you have your scan booked, something to look forward to.

    Hello again @ivf newbie
Sounds like this last cycle had better fertilization results for you! Hopefully this embi is the one that sticks. I was the fourth daughter in a family, how lovely to be building your big family. Fingers crossed this is your number 4! Xx

AFM just got the d@c genetic testing results back today. How nice that my fertility specialist texted me...

genetic analysis confirmed genetic issue with miscarriage. This is good news as 100 explains miscarriage. Happy to chat further next week but though you may like to know outcome ASAP.

Get my pgs testing results back next week. It's been a full on three weeks
Oh Hun I'm glad you got some answers (doesn't make it any easier) did they say what genetic issue it was and risks of happening again? Fingers crossed for good outcomes for next week results.

@lotsathoughts, that must have been a hard text to read. I'm surprised your OB didn't call instead. How are you feeling about that? I imagine it's good to know the cause of your loss, and hopefully you get a few good PGS normal embies on testing. I had 50% of my Day 5 embies test normal.

Hope everyone else is well! I'm just counting down the days til I can start my next attempt at FET. Might call on Friday to see if my FS has decided what protocol to use.
Hey Hun. When are you starting your FET? Wonder if we will be cycle buddies.

First cycle I got OHSS and I had an allergic reaction at egg retrieval whilst under anesthetic.
Got 11 eggs, only 2 fertilized and only got one that made it to day 5 and is now frozen.
Given my age decided we would try another cycle in the hope of getting more embryos.
fingers crossed Hun. Hope you don't have a reaction like that again.

AFM nothing really to report here. Waiting out the 2ww (cd 18) but it feels like AF is going to show early (backaches have started & the heaviness down there). Have to get some study in for my math exam as it's 2 weeks today eeek. Submitted my final assignment for my other subject this term. Been keeping myself busy today getting setup my study and work area now I'm working from home permanently. Meet my new bosses tomorrow which is gonna be hard as I was due to go on maternity leave 3-4 weeks after the business got sold (to help transition to the new owners). So just another hurdle and reminder to get through that Charlotte isn't here.

    Default IVF/FET Sept-Oct 2016

Hi all, hope you don't mind if I join?

    So sorry for your losses

My history - I have PCOS (quite severely) and don't ovulate
Dec 2013 egg collection resulted in a freeze all (had 23 collected and 9 frozen)
Jan 2014 FET with progynova resulted in my DS who is turning 2 next week
Apr 2016 FET with progynova BFN
Jun 2016 stim cycle (37.5 Gonal) for FET cancelled around day 20 as follies were too small cycle not progressing
Aug 2016 letrozole 2.5mg on days 2-6 cancelled around day 20 lining was good but follies still too small

I have three more days of provera then wait for AF to arrive - trying letrozole again on days 2-6 but 10mg this time

Wish my body would just comply! 3 women in my mothers group have fallen pregnant naturally after IVF - just doesn't feel fair

Hopefully this will be our lucky month/s!!

Hey @mish239, I do pilates 2x week, bellydancing 1x, walk 1x and on the exercise bike 1x week.....all which help with weight loss but are also exercises that you can keep up once pregnant!! Gotta choose something you can keep up! 😉 I find that i put weight on when on treatment and then lose it again afterwards....can't fight the darn hormones 😢
