    Just got word via text that my estrogen is "just over 10,000" and to keep up the flids. Is this good or bad?

    @lotsathoughts
    Thank you! I had them done fresh at day 5 I'm 28 almost 29.. I'm hoping we get around 3-4 I would be thrilled with that but who knows! This waiting I think is the hardest!
    @pops thank you for your reply! I had them done on a fresh lot, I'm not sure if they can do it on ones that are already frozen. Yes it's out of pocket but mine was capped at 6 embryos so got one for free haha! Although it's an out of pocket cost I think it would work out the same instead of having untested ones implanted that probably wouldn't have worked and having to pay for that transfer..

    I should have my results next Friday..

    Sorry to hear it's another chemical @Ashjay. The immune testing was that just bloods or a uterine biopsy? I think that's more sensitive. Have you had clotting/antiphospholipid antibodies done? Otherwise doing the chromosome tests on the embryos is a good idea, to see if that's the issue.

    I did PGS on frozen embryos too, that's how our clinic does it. Batch them up (I did two cycles as I'm a low responder) then thaw, biopsy, refreeze. I had 4 tested that reached blast, two normal and one indeterminate, one abnormal (I'm 38).

    Thanks @Flower78 I've only had the blood test done, I think I'm going to bring up immunity testing with him again though and see what he says.
    It just has to be something. As a background, for the 15 times I've been pregnant in the past 5 years, the exact same thing happens, i get a positive HPT around 10dpo and by/ 14/15 dpo it's lighter and pretty much gone usually by 15/16 dpo.. seems to hang around a little longer with my FET's by a day or so. And this is literally, every single time the same thing. So something is stopping it from progressing - and I'm going to spell that out to doc next week too- although I'm pretty sure I've told him that in the past. I have a 7yr old DD who was conceived easy, first try and had absolutely no problems with her, pregnancy and labour and birth - so it's really thrown us having all this trouble now!

    Not always bad I always get high oestrogen, last cycle it was 16,000 and I didn't get OHSS.

    Oh my god @Ashjay ! How awful! You must be a super strong person to go through 15. I hope you get some answers soon x x x

    Thanks ladies on the testing info. I will be speaking with my clinic this afternoon so it is definitely something I will be asking about. And totally agree if it saves money in transfers and reduces miscarriages.

    I had my final scan this morning and they said it's only about 5 eggs (4 last time). The nurse scared me though and said that if my estrogen is too high they wont do a transfer. Is this normal? I have another blood test tomorrow morning to check it. It makes me think there is a problem! Is it normal to have a final blood test on day of trigger? I was never told this last time and I don't remember another blood test.
    Hi Snoopa, I have a further blood test tomorrow as well and trigger tomorrow night. My blood test for tomorrow was part of the initial plan so think it's just something my clinic does as normal?? Having said that though I have already been given the speel today about my estrogen having skyrocketed on Wednesday's test and my Dr will make the decision about whether we transfer fresh or freeze all this cycle after tomorrow's test.. my first stim cycle in 2014 ended in freeze all so I was kind of expecting it (though still secretly hoping they will let me transfer fresh, I don't really want to wait for an FET). Do you know what your blood level was?

    Sorry I replied to your earlier post before seeing this one! My estrogen was almost at 10000 on Wednesdays test and they haven't totally ruled me out for a fresh transfer yet :-) Although I don't doubt all the different Drs and clinics have different levels at which they decide to freeze all! Tomorrow's results will determine that though the nurse I saw today said she would imagine a freeze all is coming for me... but I won't now that until after EPU on Monday!

    I take comfort knowing the final blood test is normal for others ☺
    I got a text saying it's just over 10,000 and I need to keep up the fluids. Nervous I won't get a fresh transfer. I'm ok with the needles and the discomfort that comes with epu, the waiting is the killer! I'm normally an impatient person and this ivf just sends me nuts with the never ending waiting!
    Are you having epu on monday too then? Good luck!
