Default Can anyone here help me understand?

I had to get a CT scan for my migraines and they found a Focal prominence of the right internal cerebral vain at the level of the pinal gland.

My doctor said I need a mri to further investigate.

So with all this swirling around I didn't ask a lot of questions.
So does anyone know what this means on normal terms.

My gp has put me on zomig and have endone and pandene Forte for the meantime for the pain.

Sorry I have no idea, only that CT scans aren't as detailed as MRIs. Try to stay away from Google if you can though as I'm sure it won't help when you don't know what it is. Hopefully nothing bad!

I have a 10mm cyst in the pineal gland in my brain. My first MRI reads as a single t2 hyperintense focus within the right pre central gyrus consistent with an ischaemic focus. Apparently that means a cyst but beats me. I have it scanned every year to ensure there is no growth. Don't think that probably helps you sorry

I don't have an answer but in case you do not get an answer tonight I would suggest making an appointment with your GP to discuss tomorrow. Maybe jot some q's down tonight/tomorrow?
