    Default I need a drink

    I have not had a drink in a LONG time and feel like I could do with one at the moment. However since my gastric sleeve surgery I can not handle much in the way of fizzy drinks and last time i tried to drink I had 1 vodka and orange and it gave me a terrible upset stomach so DH suggested maybe try wine. The problem with that is I don't know anything about wine, I tried one years ago and it was sour and made my mouth pucker so then it was suggested maybe try a sweet wine. So before I race to the bottle-o I figured I would ask for suggestions on a nice sweet wine, don't care about colour because honestly I have no idea on the difference between red or white I just need it to taste sweet and refreshing and give me a buzz.

    How sweet? Moscato is sweet (too sweet for me). Also some rose varieties can be on the sweeter side.

    I have a big sweet tooth and love a lot of really sweet fruits if that helps. Sorry I am a bit simple when it comes to wine

    Moscato is about the only wine I like. Its easy to drink and a large glass makes me nice and relaxed.

    What about a bottle-o that does tastings?
    My DH adds lots of ice to defizz after his sleeve

    Maybe port? It's quite sweet.

    Marlborough sauvignon blanc is quite easy to drink, although the it's more dry.
