@calypso75 I feel so incredibly sad reading your post, esp after meeting you. You're very brave drawing the line. Thank you so much for offering to help me when I was in hospital having my hernia surgery too. You're a gold star beautifully kind woman. Massive, massive hugs, xxxxxxxxxxxxx.

@calypso75 hi, we havent spoken personally before but i just wanted to let you know that i care and im sorry this difficult decision had to be made. I remembered asking a friend once about how to tell when i should give up. She said i wouldnt need to work it out- that i would know because i would feel it. (If that makes sense). I think she was right. When it hurts more to continue than to just stop. Big hugs and be kind to yourself xox

@Grace1 hello lovely lady, im sorry about your last cycle and what your fs had said. I know it wouldnt have been what you wanted to hear. But i reckon, just because she's not hopeful, it doesnt meant they wont let you continue if you want to. I think when they say these things, they are just trying to indicate that it will take lots of time, money and stress, if you do keep going. In a way, i think its better that your fs seems honest, as in, it would be worse if they were giving you false hope just to keep getting your money. Still, in know that doesnt help ease the pain of being told your chances are slim. You can always keep going if you are willing and able to do so xox

@Chiefsgirl sorry to hear about your recent worries. I hope things with DD & DH are back to normal now too and glad to hear you're ignoring the neighbours. I hope there's no hassles with their construction but sounds like there could be going from past experiences you've had with them
@calypso75 sorry to hear also. I'm glad you're making peace with your decision. after a bit of time since my last cycle I was almost at that point too (then our donor appeared for one last shot)
@Grace1 sorry to hear about your cycle too. hugs
@Blossom74 @Tahli @tuxcat good luck for september, ladies. sydney turned on the spring weather for you - I think it's a good omen

I had the call from our clinic co-ordinator so all being well I start the pill next week (af due fri). she's calling again next week with more info/follow up after she speaks with our donor. I'm not going to have the hysteroscopy?/scratch this time. I want to see if it works almost natural with the only difference being DE. she said I take the pill till she says to stop then have a bleed then we sync up & do the fresh transfer (all being well). plus this way if it does work I can say I'm one of those girls who has the pill, goes off it then bam - pg (apart from the years of ivf, using a donor and not being on the pill for maybe 15yrs or more ...) I can dream. &

    Love this!!!!

Ive often thought if ever asked "was it planned" by someone possibly at work or something to say "no.. we are still in total shock..especially at my age!"
