I called up today to let the nurses at my current clinic know AF arrived and I wasn't going to do the blood test and all they asked was "so do you want to cycle again? If so, we'll send you out the blood forms and get you to start lucrin......".. I had to interrupt to ask if my FS would be reviewing my file to see if my protocol should be changed and she said no!!!!!! They're going to keep cycling me on the same old "one size fits all" protocol until I'm in the poor house with no baby!!!!!!!!!!!
I'll be sending them a very terse complaint letter in the coming months.
In the meantime, I've secured myself a Dr M appointment, a Dr Gee appointment, a Dr Reid appointment, possibly another FS who's experienced with mthfr and still waiting by the phone for Wazza!
I figure since I've reached the safety net, I may as well see every single FS under the NSW sun for a second, third, fourth and fifth opinion and only have to pay $50 out of pocket for each visit!!!
How are you going hun?
It does suck to see a bfn, but I was honestly not expecting to see anything other than a bfn.. The embryos they transferred were rubbish and when I did a blood test for my anti-thyroglobulin during implantation, it was very elevated. I suspect I have immune issues, which has got me excited, because I know Dr M will help me!!
"Normal range is between 3-12% These NK cells can be activated by a pregnancy that fails or a fertilised embryo that degenerates. Percentages of 18% or greater usually predict a poor reproductive outcome".
If it's a different one, let me know. The book has the normal ranges for CD3, CD4, CD8, CD19, CD3...
It appears you are just within normal range at 11.9%.
Maxwellsmum im so sorry. I was just trying to connect her with ladies who knew stuff about the known donor thing but i dont want you to feel uncomfortable. Im so sorry. I feel like ive stuffed up and ive misunderstood your earlier post about letting her know about not so positive experiences.
I'll ask them to email me the report tomorrow. I don't think the receptionist knew what she was looking at.
@Maxwellsmum, please don't leave us, we'll keep it a nice warm safe place for you. I know how you feel,
I have a work baby shower coming up and I can't even bring myself to buy presents! Too angry and bitter- and not ashamed of it. Xxxxxxxx
@MissDa I think LB starts treating at 12% which is my level too. I started off with 10mg of Prednisolone from day 1. Then I've worked up to 25mg of Prednisolone. Now Warren has me on Feldene 10mg (anti inflammatory) and Prednisone 25mgs (no steroid in it). I hope this helps.
That dream actually ended with Warren pioneering a surgery where he removed the bottom triplet (pre heartbeat) along with some of my endo lining and transplanted into one of you. Like lifting up a seedling to plant somewhere else.
I was chatting with a girlfriend today who has 3 children. All conceived by simply looking at her hubby. She said if she falls pregnant again accidentally then I can have her child. I know she meant well.
