Ah geez @BlondeinBrisvegas that's just hard work! what a pain in the a.r.se. Have a stiff drink and knock yourself out for the night. Enjoy baking DDs cake, something fun to look forward to and focus on.

@Blossom74 that all sounds like a good plan, I'm sure it'll all come together when they get you sorted with a proper plan. Great that you stuck to your guns too

I once heard that transferring more than one embryo doesn't up your chances of pregnancy it just ups your chances of multiples. Not exactly sure how that works but I would say that if you don't want to risk having twins (or more) then just do your single transfer. It's a hard one as I know I've recently thought about whether that option would even be open to us (pretty sure no). It's been hard enough getting here to this point I don't think I need the stress of getting through a high risk pregnancy for 9 months. i guess if you have health concerns then it's a good reason to think hard about the decision. Often people just imagine the nice things about having twins but there's a lot of pregnancies that don't make it or the babies are born very prematurely etc. A friend of mine had her baby at 26 weeks (singleton) and he spent 3 months in the nicu, all her mothers group that were all from the nicu at the same time had twins, they were all premmie babies. There are also lots of good stories so it's a hard one, do what your gut tells you to I guess. We have friends with identical twin girls and they are so cute, all the great photos of them bouncing off one another, it's gorgeous.

Glad you found your thumb again

@gorgeousgeorge I remember reading that having a family history of severe morning sickness is one risk factor for getting it yourself. Another is twin pregnancy.

@Summer your appt sounds interesting. I hope Dr M can shed some light on things for you. I guess in one way your body should be producing progesterone once pg so not having extra boosters should still work. or do they think you could be allergic to your internal/natural progesterone too? not just the supplements - could it be just that batch esp if it was a problem with compounding & you've been using the same supply. is it worth having it tested for purity/problems? to eliminate issues from that

yeah I was surprised by the 70-80% that the doc mentioned. I had 50-60 more in my mind. or even 30% as it seemed to take some of the other ladies 1-3 tries (with bfp & m/c which I'm hoping to avoid). I figure even 30% is still close to a natural pg when younger and all of the figures are higher than the 0-1% the FS have said my OE at my age is at now. we were on the wrong side of 80% after seeing a heartbeat with last cycle. so I'm still wary of the stats as each person is different. & each cycle/embie.

@BlondeinBrisvegas your session sounds really emotional. I hope you're ok and don't dwell on it as it sounds like your ex has the problem. I'm sorry your consellor wasn't more supportive.

@faithandhopellove +1 to what @tuxcat mentioned about RPA. I wish I could go back there for this cycle as they're great. if you book in & get the appt then at least you can ask about transporting the frostie and see if they have other ideas. should still give you time to think about options if that doesn't suit
