I really look forward to (Hopefully!!!!) having a set invitation for my kids and their spouses and children and friends and my kids in-laws and whoever the hell else wants to join in, on Boxing Day every year for some big fancy Christmas do. I say Boxing Day because I figure that makes it more likely to not interfere with plans etc. I just want to be able to invite everyone to our property and have a big feast with a million kids running around screaming and making a mess and just enjoying them. I see it happening with some of our older friends, not exactly but similar, and I want it so bad.

Also, I am looking forward to our camper trailer finishing being made. I can't wait to just rock up at school on the kids last day before holidays and loading them in and not coming back for two weeks.

Love this! We don't live near my family and DH's aren't big on family stuff.

My SIL is moving over the road from us in 5 weeks but his family all currently live 10 hours from us so not as close as we could be. And I am completely estranged from my whole family. So having a big communal family is really important to me
