    Unhappy Cramping Every Day

    Hi everyone,

I am hoping someone can give me some advice...for the past few weeks I have been having stomach cramps every day off and on. They feel like period pain but with no period. I am on the contraceptive pill. It's a dull ache. I have been diagnosed with endometriosis and have had it removed via laproscopy twice but many years ago. I had a baby in Feb this year.

I went to the dr, not my usual doctor, and she is sending me for an ultrasound and suggested that it might be the endo. My ultrasound is not until Thursday and I'm a bit worried. Has anyone had these symptoms? Any ideas?

    Thanks xoxox

Thanks @MrsTugs. I have suffered horrible period pain with endo but not pain everyday without fail. I just wondered if this was a possible symptom.

It does sound very extreme, but it really is one of those things you'll probably have to wait and see unfortunately. Keep us posted.

I would say it's endo returning or just a symptom of endo. I have endo too and after DD3 &4 the pain returned which was constant for some time. Perhaps see a gyno which may recommend a different pill for you. I found the depo injection or just the provera (if you're not breastfeeding) helped ease the pain.

Thanks for your reply @BabyG4. I suspect it's endo too...can't help but use dr Google and that's not helping. Lol. I am happy if it's endo and nothing more serious. I have considered the injection but haven't gone down that road yet. I will see what the ultrasound says and then visit the gyno.

Might seem like a silly question, but have you tried a pregnancy test? I know the pill is not 100% and lots of cramping is a pretty common symptom. Just to rule it out.

Not a silly question at all @BornToBe. It did cross my mind but I haven't done a test. My baby was an IVF baby so I thought the chances were very slim and I didn't have any other symptoms. Maybe I will do one today just to be sure.

Just thought I would update you all...ultrasound was clear although painful in spots. Going for a laporoscopy on Thursday with suspected reoccurrence of endo. Thanks for all of your advice. Fingers crossed the problem is found and fixed and I can start healing from Friday.
