Hello, Thank you for allowing us to join your forum. We have already placed our introduction yesterday here. Now we have our ad that was approved from the Victorian Health Minister. We hope you will enjoy reading our story.
THIS IS OUR LAST CHANCE. PLEASE MAKE OUR WISH COME TRUE.
Our names are Sandra and Wayne. I am 48 years old and Wayne is 54 years old and have married later in life. We are both late bloomers and in the process, time has gotten away from us. We have tried to conceive naturally and considered IVF but our specialist advised there would be more chance of success with suitable donor eggs.
We both have strong maternal instincts and come from large extended families so our child would have lots of cousins. I work with children on a daily basis and love them. I work as a School Crossing Supervisor and Wayne is an Accountant. I also work casual as a Clerk. Wayne is really good with his nieces and nephews. My friend says I am a natural around her baby. We both interact well with children.
We are financially secure with a good home. We also have a good support network. Both sides of our families have a strong academic background and I have a sister who is a registered nurse. We both look younger for our ages and are very fit people. We love running and walking and I do yoga regularly. We both love travelling, having travelled extensively around Australia and twice to Europe. Lots of pictures to show our child. We both love animals and have a cat whom we adore. We lead a healthy lifestyle.
Our specialist has recommended that we should look for a donor up to the age of 30. We are not really looking for any characteristics but if you have a bright outlook that would be a bonus because our dream is to raise a happy child. We are both open to to have a donor anywhere in Australia as well as within Victoria. If you are not able to come to our Melbourne clinic, we can travel to you. We would like the donor to be in good general health. We would like to keep in contact during the process as well as afterwards. We will respect your wishes too if you prefer not to remain in contact with us. We are aware that our child would be able to contact the donor upon turning 18 years old. We will leave the decision up to our child on how they decide. We believe that our child should know of their conception so we will be pretty much direct and open to our child. Of course, all medical expenses and travel costs will be reimbursed.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story. If you like what you have read, please feel free to contact us.
