Default Need to pee 24/7 - Releif??

    TMI -

So I'm 36 weeks pregnant and have an unrelenting "desperately need to pee" feeling. It's 24/7, no matter what position, no matter how much liquid I've consumed, and no matter how many times I go to the bathroom. I'll go to pee, the tiniest trickle will come out (sometimes nothing at all), and the feeling doesn't even ease in the slightest.

I'm not getting ANY sleep (roughly an hour last night, average of 2 broken hours a night for the last week or so), I can't drive anywhere more than 10 mins away without having to stop for a bathroom, I can't even get the groceries without being in agony and feeling like I'm going to pee my pants!

Please help!!! Is there anything I can do for relief?? Anything I can take?? Any way I can convince this baby that my bladder is not a good pillow?? I'm desperate :'(

I don't think so... but I was going to get some Ural today just in case. There's no pain or stinging when I pee...

I think you'll need see a doctor today to rule it out. Ural is only good for the burn and sting but not for the frequency. Also if you do have a uti it can precipitate pre term labor so please get checked

Will talk to a dr today, thanks. It feels more like a pressure/weight feeling, like when I stand up or shift positions I can feel the weight of bub pressing on my bladder and making it worse. He's measuring 2 weeks ahead, so it's a hefty little fella

But I'll chat to a dr today just in case.

I've had a uti with no other symptoms aside from some right sided belly pain so definitely get checked out

Definitely get it checked out. It sounds more like a uti to me given how frequently you are needing to go.

I am totally familiar with that needing to pee sensation, but not quite as frequently as you describe. I'd be inclined to get it checked out to, mainly because of your broken sleep at nights (you poor thing! sounds very hard). Hopefully it's just baby in an awkward position.

Definitely a UTI, can't believe I didn't think of it earlier! I guess I'd gotten so used to having bub user my bladder as a trampoline that it didn't occur to me :/ I have some antibiotics now, so hopefully they don't take too long to kick in!
