Default Metformin Mumma's desperate to conceive ❤

Hello ladies, I have created this post for all Mumma's trying to conceive on metformin alone. I have no gone down the clomid route just yet however may do if not utd by xmas. I am using vitamins and metformin 1000mg a day. I was using vitex also but seems to have done more harm than good?! My cycles are 6 weeks long and I do not get ovulation symptoms at all... if I do ovulate at all! I will also be using OPK
I'm in the Gold Coast and would love to chat with any other ladies in the similar situation. Speak soon, Lisa x

Hi Lisa. I am on Metformin at the moment but will possibly try clomid as some point as well. I've been ttc for 4 years. After the first 6ish months I was diagnosed with pcos and put on metformin by my gp. Fell pregnant within 2 months. Unfortunately we lost our baby girl at 21 weeks. I've since had 3 miscarriages. About a month ago I decided to try the metformin once again. Its hard because my dp works away but is finally on a better roster of 2 weeks on and 1 week home so hoping it might just work for us. My cycles are usually around the 60 day mark. Wishing you the best of luck x

Hi Lisa, we have been TTC for 3 years. The last 12 months I have been on Metformin only 500mg a day, increased to 1000mg last month due to PCOS. Have had my tubes unblocked numerous times, laparoscopic surgery to clear endometriosis and now have started taking clomid this cycle to help us along!
Before taking Metformin my cycles were 46days! Now a clock work 28.
We also struggled with the hubbys roster working away but after a chat with the Gyno he suggested a month on the pill to adjust my cycle and now I O on his week off! My fingers are crossed that September is the month!
Wishing you all the best of luck this month! Candice xxx
