    Default Resume help please?

Just wondering if you put your current employer as a reference when you haven't told them you're looking for other work?

The position states they need current and last employer but really don't want current employer to know about this.

Does new employer have to check with you before they offer job?

Is there the option to put "references available upon request" and find someone at work to be your reference that you trust not to "tell on you"?

It's not unusual to seek work before letting your current employer know. You don't want to jeopardise your job and recruiters understand that.

I would list your workplace in the employment history, but for references just say available upon request. They'll understand, most CVs read something similar these days
