    Default Dental problems in pregnancy

Hey everyone. So silly me has gone an chipped a back molar... It's not causing any pain and is just a small chip. Should I get it checked or hold out? Can they still do fillings when pregnant?

They can do fillings, but not xrays. But if it's a chip and it's obvious, they may be able to fill without wanting to do an xray anyway

Better to get it checked out and prevent it turning into something worse. I had fillings and root canal done while I was pregnant - including necessary x rays. Just let the dentist know you are pregnant and they'll modify treatment as required.

I chipped my front tooth in half at about 26 weeks pregnant.... Got it all fixed with a local.... As pp said the only thing is they cannot do X-rays...
