Default Embarrassing stuff your child/ren have said

Share your stories of embarrassment at the hands of your precious darlings!

My DS embarrassed me a little yesterday when we were on a bush walk. We were passing a man and a woman on the track. The woman had short hair and was wearing a visa.

DS remarks loudly "the mans are going for a bush walk!".

Jayzus Innocent mistake, but a bit of a cringey moment all the same

My DS (just turned 2) has just starting stringing words together. On our walk he very loudly shouted while pointing, "mummy, man boobies!" At a man who had did have man boobies. I wish the ground could swallow me up.

We were walking around Target and as we walked passed the lingerie section, 2.5 year old ds said several times excitedly "oooo mummy boobies!" while pointing to the bras. There were a couple of older ladies there and some teenage girls. So embarrassing! Haha

In a toilet cubicle with DD at the local shops and DD says (in a voice loud enough for everyone in the ladies rooms to hear), "and you've got hair down there haven't you Mummy".

In the shopping centre toilet during AF my DS (2.5) asked what's that? I said blood and he yelled at the top of his lungs to my sister who wasn't even in the toilets but outside in the shopping complex "sisters name- mummy did blood!!"

Apparently while at daycare when he was about 18 months old, the carer had DS1 on the change table changing his soiled nappy. DS1 says excitedly 'oh sh1t! Oh sh1t!'. Hmmmmm. I nearly died when they told me!

What is it with toilets and child humiliation?

Recently I took DS to McDonalds and we were washing our hands in the sink in the ladies toilets when someone in one of the cubicles farted. DS shrieked loudly "ha ha, he fluffed" and proceeded to chuckle loudly. Apparently everyone is a 'man', or a 'he' according to DS

One time DD got food poisoning from sausages. So now everytime there is a sausage sizzle like at Bunnings etc she takes great delight in telling the people that 'Mummy gave me yucky sausages and that made me sick'

    Totally embarrassing
