No PCOS. She did ivf for no Fallopian tubes (one ovarian torsion, one ectopic). So we thought it should be straightforward.

I'm having to get my embryos tested @pingc383
Meeting my fertility specialist about it today. I had an "outstanding" looking embryo but unfortunately we miscarried. At 7 weeks we had a heartbeat, then at 9 weeks it had stopped.
I'm a little nervous to test as I fear they'll all be abnormal. But could be just because I'm down from having a d&c on Monday.
I was also told that at my age 50% will come back abnormal. For some reason I fear it will be higher. Tests take 3 weeks to come back so will hopefully get that ball rolling today. It's also our wedding anniversary- not the happiest of years

That sounds theoretically right but sperm is all good. It's probably the make up of the eggs. I have done a bit of research into this and it makes sense... I am reading this bookIMG_1473812477.045241.jpg

Thanks for your kind words @pingc383
We're both heartbroken and off to a counselor together today after we see our fertility specialist.
What does the article say about estrogen priming? I was on menopur last cycle and had an increased fertility rate...I thought the extra estrogen I was on helped.
I also did back to back cycles with a break on the pill in between.

It sucks having to wait to cycle again. It sounds like this FS has a bit of a plan for you tho. Have you signed off to do PGD testing? How long did they say that will take for you?

Wishing lots of luck surrounds us all in these last few months of the year xx

Thanks @pingc383 the counsellor mainly validated that I was on the right track in terms of processing it and encouraged my DH and I to keep communication up. She also said that it was a big thing to go through and we need to grieve.

    I'm 35 and a half years old .
When I was on menopur I did notice that my follicles grew evenly. I've only had two embryos at the end of my last two stimulated cycles so after my third stimulated cycle when I got one to put back in and 8 to freeze it was a huge difference. I'm now not sure if the quality was that great. Hopefully we get at least one back as normal at the end of PGS testing. We signed for that yesterday and found out it depends on how many are suitable for testing. So those 8 frosties might not all be suitable.

I'm not sure of my levels of FSH along the way. It's good you know that. Hopefully you will get at least one back as normal and hopefully we do too.
My FS walked upstairs to the embryologists during our appointment to find out when they'd be able to start testing which I thought was nice. We found out they'll start testing this week so we could find out next week or the week after.

Thanks @nattie84 and @brib I think surrounding myself with lots of loving people has helped.
@brib good luck this time round, hope you can make it to egg collection. How have they changed your protocol to increase the chances of getting to egg collection?

Having a plan for the next cycle has helped me keep hope. Really didn't want to get back on this ride again tho.
