    Thank you, very interesting

@Flower78 my FS and embryologist didn't really talk about the scratch and implantation but there is research which suggests it can definitely help with implantation, I think this is the case for up to 3 cycles after... but I am not an expert.. I hope your spotting and everything settles down soon.

I have never had my lining measured before as my FS doesn't do scans with natural FET so i don't really know if it has been an issue previously...time will tell. I would rather wait for things to be right rather than waste a perfectly good PGD passed embryo.. It is all very interesting.

I will let you all know how my scans etc go tomorrow, that is when the decision will be made .

@crossingfingers your story sounds very similar to mine. I was tested for NK cells last cycle after a m/c an chemical pregnancy. I tested positive and I am currently on medication this cycle, this cycle has been a bit off for a range of reasons and may be cancelled, but I will keep you updated. Realistically its better to be tested for everything (I was like a pincushion after over 20 BT last cycle) to see if there is anything that you can resolve. Good luck with everything and keep us in the loops as to how you are going. xx

    Default IVF/FET July-August 2016 #2

@Juliannicholson I'd never heard of the cells until recently. We are doing the biopsy next week and it can take 2.5-3 weeks for the results so this month is a no go. I'm then going to Bali for a wedding, need a break from it all and as I know I'm not pregnant and won't be, I've RSVPED really late to go. Then we'll go again when we get back.

Sorry to hear you had a m/c and a chemical pregnancy. Devastating I am sure. My doc found it odd I haven't even had a chemical pregnancy given all looks so good. So the results could be interesting.

How come it could be cancelled? Are the NK drugs really interfering?
I am sorry to hear. Every extra day you have to wait is horrible

    Default IVF/FET July-August 2016 #2

@flower87 I'm having a biopsy next week and ordinarily that would work for the scratch too but as im taking the next month off to go to Bali, I'll have the scratch the day I get back and then start the next cycle. So yes my doctor told me yesterday it's supposed to make the uterus more "sticky".

Hi ladies. I've started synarel from Tuesday (day 22). I'm not overly familiar with this cycle but I'm going to be starting puregon 225u next week if AF and bloods are good, and continue with synarel throughout until trigger I think.

So far I've had one hot flushy episode, and 10-20 min post synarel I get a sneeze attack! My nose is also a tiny bit sore! What symptoms do others get with synarel? I'm feeling otherwise great, but it's only been three days.

I've been seeing an acupuncturist fortnightly, which has noticeably helped regulate my natural cycle! I'll be seeing here weekly from now though.

Hi jess8383 I'm on day 22 tomorrow and will start synarel pending my blood test results tomorrow so if all if clear I'll be able to let you know what my symptoms are.

@jess8383 - Hi hun your cycle sounds very similar to cycles I have done in the past. How are you coping with the yucky synarel taste? Your symptoms dound pretty normal I also use to get the sneezes after using the synarel and was worried about loosing all the stuff but from what I read up its pretty fine especially 10 minutes after use its just as if the spray irritated something. Good luck hun x
@cococool - Hope all goes well for your bloods and you can get started hun x

I am no expert but I thought they needed to do the biopsy NK test around day 22-24?

    Found this on IVFA website:

An endometrial biopsy is taken by a procedure that is similar to an embryo transfer, where a soft plastic catheter is used to gently aspirate a tiny piece of the uterine lining. The biopsy is then sent off to the laboratory for testing. The biopsy has to be done at the time of the month when implantation is taking place while the blood test can be done at any stage of the month. Your fertility specialist will decide which combination is best for you.

@pingc383 oh dear, that sounds awful. My clinic doesn't do Lucrin anymore so synarel is it. Although i think you can get he injections instead. But is that any better... Who knows!
