I often can't be bothered taking the time to say anything anymore...just read and move on. Or have my say and then leave the thread and not go back to it after constantly having my posts brutally picked apart one by one (although this hasn't happened since I told the main person doing this to leave me alone).
It is weird without the mods. Where are they? Aren't mods supposed to be active on a forum to help keep things moving? I'm beyond the baby/toddler stuff and have been for a while. It seems that after that stage there's not much left here. It's a shame. I'd like to have somewhere to go to anonymously discuss parenting concerns and ideas beyond the baby/toddler phase....but there doesn't seem to be anywhere for it. The social interest threads were good, but they've died off completely.

This is what scares me. If I need advice regarding school aged children I worry that bubhub will be basically a wasteland by then. Let's face it, there's not many of us left, and not enough joining. And I can't be arsed starting all over again building trust and relationships in another baby forum.

One thing I've noticed- and this is how I discovered bubhub in the beginning - is that if you google things now bubhub no longer shows up like on the first few pages. It's been completely kicked to the curb. It always was one of the first results.

I have investigated and there doesn't seem to be a forum out there for those with kids (not just babies/toddlers) anyway so I need bubhub as I will always be clueless.

Facebook is not the place and lacks anonymity.

AND YES MODS I AM DISCUSSING OTHER FORUMS- is there anyone even there reading or noticing?

Was Katiesmum employed by bubhub? Maybe she's not anymore, either way I miss her influence

But without more faces BH is slowly but surely dying with the same old arguments and not much to talk about.

Way to make a person feel invisible, thanks guys

I consider myself a pretty active member, especially on week days. I even make an effort to create threads on the regular. But hey, where are the mods?

To be fair we have all acknowledged your presence in other threads about this. You don't feel acknowledged? How about recognising people want to feel heard?

But what's happened to the rest? The awards the most posts most thanked etc. Anyway no one seems to want to answer that.

We did bring this up before very recently and we mentioned you were the exception
    Sorry @Mod-Degrassi

Eta:the other mods have disappeared though yes? Apart from closing threads or responding to reports?

I have seen @Mod-Uniquey around here and there but that's it (apart from @Mod-Degrassi).

I am also feeling like the same things just get hashed over and my head seems to just hit a brick wall some of the time. I like debate - but sometimes it's not a debate when there is always one point people do not want to let go of or discuss. And bring it up in the next 5 random threads. And rehash it again.

I am also wondering how @M'LadyEm is going. Was thinking about you yesterday and just saw you posted.

I'm still here, replying to all your emails and doing all the behind the scenes stuff.

I think the reason you don't notice the moderators around as much is because we have an awesome group of members now who are respectful and supportive of each other, who help each other and don't bicker or fight. We no longer need to step in to close threads as often, or post reminders about forum etiquette etc as forum members self moderate and we don't need to be so visible ... IYKWIM.

If there are particular things you want to see posted just let me know. You can PM or email me on forum@bubhub.com.au. I have never posted stats but I'm sure I can work it out. If we missed the awards this year (I can't remember) then that is completely my fault as I started uni and have been very overwhelmed with it all. The good news is I've nearly finished my first year of study and we can have an end of year awards ceremony instead.
