    TMI...

I am over AF being so ridiculously heavy. I think it's time to see a doctor Put a new super tampon in and an overnight pad on. Went for a 4 hour drive to go shopping and when I got to shops, I had to walk awkwardly with my legs together to get to the toilet, to change the tampon that was so completely saturated it was almost non-existent and the overnight pad which was seconds away from leaking (hence the stupid walking) and covered in clots as well as normal blood. *sigh* I'm just so over not having a "normal life" for the first 3 days of my period. The girls in the commercials make it look so easy haha.

@Ahalfdozen I'm pretty sure if you switch to Carefree tampons you can jump around in the ocean.

Have you looked into a cup? It would hold more and over time your period should lighten up.

I've been having the same problem. Thought I was heading to menopause as can be anywhere between 45-70 days between them, and then they are horrid for upto 10 days, but bloods showed normal hormone levels. I had very low iron, which according to my Dr could either be a symptom or the cause. Had an infusion and my last period was better. She suggested a mirena as they can help lessen the flow. Was going to get one, but am now waiting to see what the next one is like.

It's awful isn't it? Makes school drop offs terrifying as in the hour it takes me to go and get home, I can flood too.

So excited to go and get DS1 soon. He has been on his first school camp and I haven't had delicious big boy cuddles since early Wednesday morning! Or heard his voice!
